Please share me your thoughts on how capcom could continue the old dmc series

well i would also like to see a return to the old canon, but this thread does not fit in the DmC Section.

also the vita could be able to port dmc4 and that would be a great option for other dmc projects
That was what I was thinking. This has nothing to do with the new Devil May Cry.
Anyways, I would love to see the old Devil May Cry series to continue as well, but I'm not sure what it should be about. Maybe about how Nero is connected with the rest of the Sparda family and why Yamato had such a strong reaction on him. Or maybe about Dante's trip to hell and back after Devil May Cry 2. I have also read that some people on here would like to see a game about Vergil or even Sparda. I could imagine a game where Sparda is the main character and it would be about how Sparda turned against his fellow demons in order to protect the mortals. That would be pretty sweet.
I would just push kobayashi out and just leave it under the domain of Itsuno and Bingo because they knew what they were doing when they did 3.
I would have them do DMC5 to move the series forward by answering the cliffhanger of DMC2. Dante went to hell because he's taking a break from Devil hunting and is curious about what the demon world is actually like.
plus the human world is not left unprotected because they have the other members of the dMC team and other hunters. I'm sure Dante has made other friends besides Lucia and nero.
Nero and lucia are the other Main characters as they searching for Dante and get wrapped into another adventure. It answer's some of the series's questions like is Nero Vergil's kid etc. We are making an adventure not writing a checklist so not every plothole needs to be addressed.
Next game Vergil comes back.

Bingo no longer works for Capcom apparently. Could been pushed out and wrote that BS novel for DMC4. (there are alot of staff that have left capcom over the past 4 years.)
DMC universe needs a crossover now ?? that won't be considered as canon just like SFxtekken
Unless it is Devil May Cry/Bayonetta. That would just confirm that the two games are in the same world and it could easily be canon to both series!

I don't see why there can't be two Dante. Like there can be different versions of Megaman, I don't mind there being different versions of Dante as well.

And Megaman has some kind of armor on that gives him offense and defense.
If you take off Megaman's armor off you will see a cartoonish human body.
So if Megaman has new armor - that's not bad. Infact it's a good way to make a old game new.

Except for the change of hair, I think the new Dante looks like the old Dante. Your arguement is flawed though, because the Mario in the first game is the same Mario ALL the games. The new Dante in the new Devil May Cry isn't the same Dante who is in Devil May Cry 1-4. Just like the Megaman in Megaman Legends isn't the same Megaman who is in the first Megaman series.
Let me show it like this:
Megaman > Megaman X > Megaman Zero = Main canon storyline.
Megaman Legends = New storyline not connected to the main canon.
Megaman.EXE = Another new storyline also not connected with the main canon.
Devil May Cry 1 > Devil May Cry 2 > Devil May Cry 3 > Devil May Cry 4 = Main canon storyline.
DmC: Devil May Cry = New storyline not connected to the main canon.
So I don't see why Capcom can't make a DmC: Devil May Cry 2 and so on to continue the new series AND continue the original series with a Devil May Cry 5 along with it, like they did with the many Megaman series. The only reason they might not do it would be because they don't want to spend money on running both projects.
One last note; Megaman is a Reploid. He is 100% artificial. He isn't a human with armour on, he is a robot.
Actually Legends is a part of the Main canon storlyine.
It just takes place in the FAR future of 2000 years later.
