Well that's only your view but the game has it as Dante finally surpassing Vergil(since he was sought to be the "older" brother and the more stronger of the two.) I'm just going by what it shown at the end of DMC3 and DMC1. Also yes Dante did have to win but we are talking about if Vergil was actually as strong as him in the first place at the end of DMC3-DMC1 were it ended. See now if someone put it as Nero vs DMC3 Dante then we can theory and speculate about it because it has never happen and will never happen, but in Vergil case it already has happened.

My point was just that Dante had to win. You'd class Vergil as stronger than Dante if he were the hero, it was biased from the start. Why create a biased thread? All it will do is cause arguments. I had good points. I thought we were talking on dmc3 terms. To me they were pretty equal in 3, IMO.

Yeah but we were talking about Dante vs Vergil not how equal they were at birth. I was just making the fact that Dante beat him twice therefor he wins this topic. Then someone else comes in and says they are tied which isn't true.

Well yeah I have mix feelings on his actions but he did say he wanted to merge both worlds and rule over it. Knowing that if he did so, then humans will no longer exist. So that made me think he is just a evil person. But hey I like that about him. He reminds me of Vicious from Cowboy Bebop.

No man, he should be seen as the bad guy and portrayed as the bad guy, BUT misunderstood.

And lastly. I'm sorry, I always get the vibe that u dislike him. It's probably because u really aren't optimistic about things.

Lol? I like Vergil its just that Dante really is stronger because he is acting as his father would. Vergil is cool is a character and rival or w/e but he should be looked as the bad guy. I like Vergil more then Dante though but that doesn't mean that I'm going to do everything I can to make it seem like he is better then Dante when he actually isn't. I will just be lying to you and myself if I did that. But yeah he is my favorite character but I won't give him slack until comes back and own Dante. But that's not going to happen because Dante is the poster boy. So the 2nd option is Nero.

That's exactly how I thought of it. But either they have something good planned for him or they are really killing him off.

If he's dead, then I'll be annoyed. In time I'll get over it, but to me... That would be such a waste of a good character, if he were dead.

I'm just not to bright on bring character back from the dead,assuming he is dead be with all of the evidence. But if he is brought back I will accept it and move on.

Vergil helped Dante at the end of dmc3, and he then went to fight the Devil Prince. In 1, it looked like he was trying to refrain from hurting Dante or something... IMO.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind how they bring him back. Having him back is good enough for Pete's sake...

Well DMC2 Dante wasn't that bad. He still had coolness to his character even if he was a jokester. With Vergil he left the series with a very cool personality and style and I don't want to see that ruined if he returns. He has to be that same exact Vergil from DMC3/SE. Not on some Vegeta BS.
