i don't know to hard to guess

guessing is easy. just pick a random number. but make sure it isn't too low. getting an answer that might be right reqires a little more thought.

I thought he was 19 in DMC3.

Here's what I believe, not what I've been told, but what I believe.

DMC3: 19
DMC1: 22
DMC4: 27
DMC2: 35

Although I bet they'll push DMC2 even farther into the future so they can keep making interquels instead of making a goddamn sequel.

here's what I think in DMC1 Dante must have been in his late 20's in DMC2 he in his mid 20's in DMC 3 is 18 to mid 20's in DMC4 he is in his late 30's early 40's and lastly in the reboot DMC he is either 19-24 but this my opinion but it dose make sense due to the DMC series is in a time warp the reboot is the first the 3rd game is the 2nd the 2nd is the 3rd the 1st DMC is the 4th and lastly DMC4 is the 5th

It's not a good idea to revive a dead thread, sorry to say.
But I can still correct you: Dante is 19 in DMC3, 28 in DMC1, unknown in DMC2, and probably about 30 in DMC4 (since Capcom said he was about ten years older than in DMC3).
But no, the reboot is not part of the original timeline - that's why it's called a reboot. It takes place in an alternate universe, so to speak. DmC is not a DMC game, hence why it's called DmC with an underscore 'm'. The chronological order of the DMC games is: 3, 1, 4, 2.

Problem with making a game chronologically set after the 2 is that it would, by all likelyhood, be boring. From what I know, post-DMC2 Dante should simply steamroll (or stepdance) all over the opposition.

True but in hell there would be overwhelming numbers and multiple high tier demons , so it could still be badass. Dante could fight all of hell while nero protects the surface.

Lol how is DMC1 Dante going to be in his late 20's if DMC2 Dante is in his mid 20's?

You do realize that DMC2 takes place after DMC1 right and as such Dante is much older right?

And DMC4 is after DMC1 but before DMC2 so Dante in DMC4 is younger than DMC2.

It seems you do not know the canon timeline of the series so let me list it for you.

Devil May Cry 3
Devil May Cry 1
Devil May Cry (anime)
Devil May Cry 4
Devil May Cry 2

Thats the official order the games storyline takes place.

Agreed, that would be fun. BTW, since DMC takes a lot of inspiration from Dante's Inferno, it could go like this:
1) Surface level. Dante needs to reach and open the Gate to Hell. Enemies: Scarecrow, Blade, Assault.
2) First Circle (Limbo). Short level with no combat, you have to collect something to bribe/convince Minos to let you on.
3) Second Circle (Lust). A stormy level with relatively short-tier demons. Demons should be based on the element of Air - not powerful, but fast and capable of flight; they should include Fallen and Mephistos. Basic enemy should be DMC3s Hell Lust.
4) Third Circle (Gluttony). A rainy, muddy level. Demons should be based on the element of Water - stronger than the Air demons, and capable of transformation. Basic enemy should be Hell Gluttony. Boss should be Cerberus.
5) Fourth Circle (Greed). A desert level. Demons should be based on the element of Earth - slow but powerful, and should include Blades and Assaults (only exceptions to the rule). Basic enemy should be Hell Greed.
6) Fifth Circle (Anger). A swamp level. Demons should be based on the elements of Water and Earth - faster but less powerful than those in the Fourth Circle, with limited health regeneration abilities. Basic enemy should be Hell Wrath.
7) Sixth Circle (Heresy). A flaming level. Demons should be based on the element of Fire, relatively flimsy but fast and with very quick and powerful attacks. Some should be capable of short range teleportation. Basic enemy should be Hell Envy.
8) Seventh Circle (Violence). A fire level. Demons should be based on the element of Fire, and should include Harpies, which themselves should combine elements of Fire and Air, as well as Blitzes. Basic enemy should be Hell Wrath. Boss should be Minotaur.
9) Eighth Circle (Fraud). A stony level. Enemies should be based on the element of Earth, and should include Centaurs. Basic enemies should be Hells Pride and Greed.
10) Ninth Circle (Treachery). An ice level. Enemies should be based in the element of Ice, and should include Frosts. Boss should be Cerberus or Mundus.

Ya that could be cool but DMC's demon world is different, so it would be a huge open landscape with portals and stupid amounts of demons and bosses to fight.

I thought that Hell and demon world are separate in DMC, or have I missed/misunderstood something? And names of low-level enemies from DMC3 do indicate that Hell is actually divided, if not strictly according to, then in a similar way to, Dante's Inferno.

@Picard: Another thing to suggest Hell is divided is that Berial states he is the conquerer of the Fire Hell.

True. And enemies in DMC4 do seem to correspond to these characteristics:
1) Fire: Berial, Basilisks
2) Air: Angelos
3) Water: Cutlasses
4) Ice: Bael/Dagon, Frosts
5) Earth: Assaults
