Yeah, I saw it.Did anyone notice this behind Vergil towards the beginning of the trailer? (By the way, I very poorly edited out Vergil's head to get a better picture of what was behind him)
I'm guessing they'll have a stylized flashback with Vergil and Dante and images floating around to the story. That or Vergil has gone into painting/tagging on his spare time.

Yeah how is that a good point.......even if it is how many fans will remember it or use it to rationalize the circumstances. I doubt any fan will even remember that the old Vergil used a gun before.

Dante should really make a clever bald joke about Mundus and not resort to cheesy or obvious bald jokes like calling him "baldie" or something old Dante would say.....something very clever.

My theory is that after mundus had been defeated in dmc 1 he had vowed to return and then we see him get sucked into a vortex and that vortex would later turn out to lead to this new universe mundus knew how things would go in the original timeline so he knew exactly what to do this time around to get control of inferno much more quickly also my reasoning for him being in human form and not the stone statue is because he has been severely weakened yet still retains the majority of his demonic power then my last point is that mundus seems to have reality bending powers I mean dmc 1s final boss fight pretty much took place in space and then there was savior is dmc 4 that shot black holes at you so njdkansdka ndjkandkjas #wallotext sorry

My friend had a theory that he just told me about. If you look at Sparda's shield you will see the symbol that is very familiar to the one branded on Dante's back. He also believes that the representation of the shield is foreshadowing of a Royalguard style which would be awesome!

Sparda wore a purple coat of the sort. Considering the fact that Dante and Vergil still follow the same colour scheme, and how Dante brushes his hair back in Darkslayer style in 4...There is a minor possibility.
But yes, it's just a feeling, besides purple army coats look ridiculous.

You know what that is? That's fear. Fear that this game is going to be awesome and backfire on all the Antis and trolls. Some people legitimately don't like the game, but we know where those dislikes are coming from.

dont be so over dramatic jeez why do you care to point that out. I keep telling people it's not just anti's that make things bad , its only one video stop with the "look see i to you nana nanan naaa" kindergarten crap no ones going to be a better man?
Its has come to a point where pro have gotten worse then anti simply because they have a snooty attitude i bet when the game does well i can see a bunch of gloating and i told you so's like wth man we are devil may cry fans not every body like's every installment and they have that right.
just look at those comments and tell me they don't sound pretentious what happened to game series vs other series not dmc on dmc violence. and yes i do realize some fans troll but comment's like that insinuate some unofficial battle or an im better then this group mentality.
