Worst moment in DmC: Devil May Cry

soooooo much booty....*dies of heart attack*
And boobs, fake, pastic boobs that covered the whole screen:troll:

Okay, the thing I hated in DmC was Dante's coat...because it hid his booty >_< that was wrong, so, damn, WRONG! How dare they cover it up while Kat's jeaned booty is on show 24/7 with her shirt cut low! Even Vergil got more booty time than Dante with how his coat kept glitching through his posh rear end, and he got a **** joke to boot, for shame! Where's Dante's booty time huh? And I don't care if the costumes allowed you to go coatless, that's not the point. Booty should've been top priority here, damn everything else! Damn it all I tell yooooou

Vergil did have some very tight trousers though...very tight. Vergil's butt, combined with Dante topless makes up for lack of Dante booty.

And guys may have Kat to stare at, but they also have to stare at Lilith. That makes up for us ladies not getting enough Dante booty. We get hot nephilim twins, while the guys get a girl with a squirrel semen fetish, and creepy plastic Barbie with face melting action and spawn of Mundus accessory.

You know what, that's what was wrong with DmC! NOT ENOUGH LILITH!:troll:

Reminds me of blazblue where the tank top wearing ninja had a giant nail as a weapon. That was stupid, imho.

And he didn't even use it. It was just there on his back.

I can understand if the bottom part had had a sword handle, then the nail would have had a more useful form; as it stands, you have grab the nail in its entirety just to use it. I don't like it.

Speaking of useless weapons and ninjas.Uchiha Madara from Naruto also has a useless one on his back.I don't know if it's a fashion statement among ninjas but..anyway.

This remembers me how much I've lost interest in animes like Naruto..though he was my favourite character.:ermm:

I have no idea:troll:

Back to DmC, when I tried to use angel or devil evade, but Dante was in the middle of the attack, so he just kept attacking and di no evade. Other times he was evading 1 second later after I pressed the evade button. He was just too slow responding. Did anyone have this problem?:/ Also any ideas what caused this?

Its not really a problem. The buffering before a move ends, in DmC, is rather extensive at some points, but on the other hand it great for loading charged weapons. But it can be a pain if you accidentally or just need to change your tactics in a split second and the buffer will ultimately do something ? But that can all be fixed by canceling the buffer with a jump/shoot/dodge. Its good and bad all wrapped together

Eryx was kinda useless to me. I didn't use it except for when the game forced me to for breaking walls and floors. I also didn't use Osiris much.

I was just grateful that Dante could use his fists at all. I really liked Beowulf.

In fact, if someone made a DmC mod with lock-on, or a DmC Dante costume mod with the PC version of DMC3, then I would probably give up the other game because of it.

I want both. I am never completely pleased with any one game's results. It's unreasonable. I know.

Y'know, I gotta give props to NT for that coat, because it actually looked like it was designed as something that hung off of his shoulders, and wasn't just something stuck to his body that started to billow below his torso.

Butts butts butts butts butts...

I liked using it when I wanted to spam the air punch that just let you dribble enemies off the ground >.< It's so mean!

I know how you feel. It's like "Can I just have this game...but with this stuff? Yeah yeah, Sleeping Dogs comes slightly close, but...still :(

Aww, poor Osiris never gets any love, it's a great weapon for combos and mix ups, I don't know what I would do without it. I actually dig all the weapons, but if I had to replace a set of weapons it'd be the demon ones, I think they could benefit from more speed and aerial combo attacks.

Some osiris, eryx, all weapons love:

I prefer Eryx over Arbiter anyday. I disabled the slam combo for Eryx so i can just keep punching forever without pushing anyone away from me. Also, Eryx is very easy to cancel, just as good as any Angel or Rebellion weapon, so you never get caught with your pants down. And playing volley ball is great too, plus dribbling, or killing witches with a spike for an environmental kill.

What I didn't like about DmC, eh?

The lack of homages to the old DMC series was painful. Especially considering this is a reboot and it bares the same name. And no, don't bring up the wig joke. Yeah, yeah, I get it. "IT'S A NOD TO THE OLD GAMES!!11" LOL MHM. A true nod/homage to DMC would've been like, let's say, a jukebox appearing in Limbo. If you break it, you'll hear a badass remix of "Devils Never Cry", and demons will begin to spawn. Not a punk dismissing Uncle Dante like he's nothing. Now that's just rude. xD

In my personal opinion i think the club scenes were the "Worst" parts of the game.. with the highly generic trance music and lighting... ugh man i miss the cheery old dante who has more to his life than casual sex and drinking.

The only thing I'll say about the club level is that maybe all those orange moving lights could give someone a siezure if they're sensitive to those kind of lighting effects.

But given today's dancing crazes, how could you tell the difference :/

Seems like many chose the club scene, and so will I. All those flashing lights gave me a headache if I focused on it for long, but then how else can I play the game? Eh, use the holy water for that entire section so I wouldn't have to suffer through that (don't know why you can't buy them) . The only time I start to develop migraines like that is when I have to take the family to 3-D movies and Fable 2. Played that game for ten minutes and the head pounding comes.

I didn't understand that whole "slow-motion car" scene and to me it just seems randomly put there.

That devil trigger. I don't even know why it was put there if the gauge empties so damn quickly. As soon as I use it, it disappears. Seriously though, it was gone with the wind...

I don't wanna start anything, but it's sorta weird to hear someone say that it sucks that you can't get Holy Water in DmC, when so often the complain about DmC is how easy it is. Just funny, to hear someone bring up the item that insta-kills or heavily damages enemies in a flash be wished for in DmC :x
