Worst moment in DmC: Devil May Cry

btw, I'm only joking:P

Anyway, what else...I didn't really like the cutscenes that popped up at different parts of the boss battle. They were a little distracting to me, plus if I had my devil trigger on before the cutscene happened, it would turn the trigger off after.

I liked the electricity you can see coursing through the floors in some parts of the Furnace of Souls, but otherwise it was sorta bland. Granted...Devil's Dalliance really sorta ruins everything that comes after it. That place was so crazy nearly everything by comparison was iffy.

Also - I'd like to point out someone mentioning they saw DmC in a bargain bin. The game is sitting roughly at around (USD) $30 new, and about $24 used. This is both at GameStop where I work, and an independent retailer an acquaintance of mine owns. For how long the game has been out, that's...honestly pretty good. Some games go lower a lot quicker than that. So yeah, that sure was a bargain bin, to be able to get it that cheap.

I'd like to point out that, at least in this here thread, no one has been arguing over which is better. I mean...the topic is just what we didn't like about DmC. We could literally make this topic on every single board for each game and talk about it. Hell, we could do it for the anime, and the novels too, if we were so inclined. I'd actually like that, it'd be fun.

This happens with films, games, books, songs, etc. It's the worst thing that happens and it's even worse when the ending is a cliffhanger - looking at you, Assassin's Creed! Tons of stuff leaves you wanting more even if it's not a direct continuation of something. Personally, I hate the waiting period between The Legend of Zelda releases since they take so long. Granted, that time is spent on making the next game as possible, but I really want to play another Zelda game. Sure, the next game might not be a direct sequel or a prequel, but I just want to play the game. I want to experience more dungeons, explore the world, and listen to the music. It's made worse that I can't really play the 2D Zelda since I don't own a Gameboy or 3DS.

Even if the story ends, sometimes you want more. Mass Effect's done, but I would totally go for another game set in the Mass Effect universe. Heck, why not make a "spiritual successor" or make it be based on an alternate universe.

Back to DmC, when I tried to use angel or devil evade, but Dante was in the middle of the attack, so he just kept attacking and di no evade. Other times he was evading 1 second later after I pressed the evade button. He was just too slow responding. Did anyone have this problem?:/ Also any ideas what caused this?

alright. but i do feel as if DmC hit the nail on the head with trying to bring back the gothic feel of the first 2 games and then the alternative rock feel and a tiny slice of cheese along with bringing its own style as well. its just some parts can be very draggy. like the part where you talk with kat in the virility factory. that was soooooo boring

Okay, the thing I hated in DmC was Dante's coat...because it hid his booty >_< that was wrong, so, damn, WRONG! How dare they cover it up while Kat's jeaned booty is on show 24/7 with her shirt cut low! Even Vergil got more booty time than Dante with how his coat kept glitching through his posh rear end, and he got a dick joke to boot, for shame! Where's Dante's booty time huh? And I don't care if the costumes allowed you to go coatless, that's not the point. Booty should've been top priority here, damn everything else! Damn it all I tell yooooou :devil:

Strange, I don't remember ever gettting that problem. The only thing I remember are the Dreamrunners and Tanks freezing still on the higher modes sometimes.
