Why Ninja theory are hated

Im sometimes think, that some rage comes from trolls and people who maked their brains that when your favourite game character have new look so this upcoming game is ****ing **** and I will not buy **** from company. My toughts on reboot are neutral, but this not stops me to see how other people thinks.

*shrug* I'm with Asmo on this one, whether that riles people or not. I don't even like the DMC games but this one looks different enough for me to take a closer look. The differences which are upsetting the long-term fanbase are precisely what are appealing to those who have maybe overlooked all things Devil May Cry in the past - that can only be a positive, in my book.

I actually agree with some of the things Tameem is saying too.

That's not really being rude though. :/ He had a point and he explained it. Not everyone is going to like every game and saying you don't like something isn't being rude. He didn't say the game sucked or wasn't cool, he just said he wasn't interested.

I don't really see the difference, saying that you didn't find the game "cool" or saying that it didn't have that "thing that grabs you" is basically the same thing. Either way you're basically saying that it's not of interest to you.

If the people working with Tameem lets him speak for them then it´s their fault. If you don't want me to generalize be a man/woman and slap Tameem Antoniades and say "stop embarissing us".

Example of why i dislike Tameem Antoniades and Ninja theory thats behind him:
If i created designed a great game. However, i lost the rights to a game producer company called "PRoducors". Then comes a game developer company like asshole Tameem Antoniades speakng of my game as if he even knows **** about it. Then ruining the game with his own ideas and pointing at Capcom "They made us do all these big changes".

Bullshit: Capcom asked for big changes. NOT SPESIFIC changes like smoking, british flag, angel, heavenly sword finishers, etc

Capcom hired Ninja theory for westernization mostly. And Capcom were probably affected by Inafune statement about Japanese games being done for.

There is certainly a difference. Something could be well made and have merit and just not be your cup of tea. That's not an insult toward said thing and its not saying you don't think its cool. I think that's what he was saying.

WAAAAAAAAH *is so incredibly offended* *runs away and cries in a corner*

Seriously though, I think you brought up a good point. The things a lot of old fans don't like are appealing to new people who either don't know anything about DMC, or don't like it. I've been saying it since the game's announcement that I am convinced that Capcom set out to get new fans because the original fan base was to demanding. Capcom is basically screwing the original fan base over in favor of a new audience.

and from the way that most of the old fanbase has been acting, i see why capcom wants a new audience of fans.

I could write an entire flipping essay on the subject. Why the reboot happened.

....That's a good idea actually. Would anyone be interested in reading and discussing something like that? ^^

i would say no that they weren't, but some people have higher standards than me.
Don't ruin Devil trigger
Don't make Dante a smoker
Don't make Dante a british affiliated (he was neutral - NEUTRAL!)
Keep Dante's original look
Keep what makes DMC DMC (demon form, not angel and demon)

Yeah our standards are really high.

Uhmm... What/who are 'real' fans ??
that's a good question, i've noticed everyone has made this into a debate about real fans vs. fake fans??? i was pointing out that if you play/like devil may cry you are a fan. there's no such thing as a real fan/fake fan. if you're a fan then you are a fan. that's why i put the word "real" in paranthesis btw

One question... Why do you mention the cigarette again and again? Dante doesn't have it; it disappeared from the scene after the very first announcement trailer. It's not a valid argument anymore.

aparently people's standards are very high, because ninja theory has announced that this game is a parallel universe yet people all over the world are still complaining about how dante's look is different, they are changing his origin story, his sword transforms, there are new gameplay mechanics such as the devil trigger (which to be honest i don't like so far). its a completely different branch of devil may cry game, there is no need to get upset at this game, because its from a different approach. no need for rage people
