I meant what I said in my first post though, however, I agree that it was rather smug of me to say those things. I stand by it though.

So you admit you were wrong, but still think you were right? Asmo, my man, you make no sense. I don't hate NT, but Tameen (how do you spell it?) bothers me. Its all good if you don't respect me or laugh at me for it, but you don't have to be so upfront about it gees! XD

I dislike Tameem as well, to be honest. I might be a supporter of the game, but though I do think this new Dante looks cool and all, I still love the old Dante... Well, except for his DMC4 appearance, but otherwise, he's still awesome! So I do indeed find it disrespectful to the designer of the old Dante to say he doesn't look cool.

About the haircut... it doesn't fit Tameem, but I know a cute guy having the same haircut and it looks great on him. ^^

in general, i do not hate this game or nt or tameem what his name but i do admit they could have handled the pr better. plus tameem is a little too arrogant and i agree with meg on his hair. But i did read an interview with him that did make him sympathetic and showed that he has some knowledge of the game industry.

You do have to admit tho, they did fumble with some of their pr and the bayonetta quote and the not moments could have been handled better.
Simply saying they liked the gameplay aspects but didnt like the story and saying they thought dante wasnt cool in 4 because he was trying to hard and felt he had no real role in the game besides looking cool would have sufficed.

i'll probably get the game and review it for you guys, if its **** i will let you know.

on the issue of the laughing out of the bar, i dont think either of them would care and Dante would turn it into a yo momma joke with monkey scaring the **** out of you. plus monkey has more context in why he looks the way he does than dante since dante just wears what they give him.

I usually lurk on this forum but I feel the need to chime in on this conversation. First I overall agree with Z218 and think that they could of handled a lot of the comments better but at the same time it feels more like angry fans are looking for reasons to demonize the people that changed what they liked. For instance looking at the op's reasons, almost everything in the "Phony" section reminds me of a 9/11 conspiracy theory to be honest, I mean; Half Angel=Heavenly Sword, come on, man. Overall, I think that Tameem definetely needs help on his PR but at the same time I don't think that he's a "douche". Besides it's not like Kamiya isn't guilty of being slightly disrespectful to other developers:

That's not really being rude though. :/ He had a point and he explained it. Not everyone is going to like every game and saying you don't like something isn't being rude. He didn't say the game sucked or wasn't cool, he just said he wasn't interested.
