Alex has said (I think it was NYCC) that there won't be any on-disk DLC, so there's that to celebrate.

Here's to hoping they release Vergil at some point though. I'd love that.
True, and I will take his word for that, but I hope a week after DmC releases there's not already DLC either. Maybe a couple months after it's release would be okay.

What is the deal with people and Tim Phillips? People never cared who voiced Dante till after the release of the game so what makes this guy so interesting to people here? I've never seen people wanting anything from the voice actors in a game before unless they were ether a Holliwood star or Nolan North, but other than that I really don't see why the interest.

To answer your question, no, not really. Capcom has release crap collectors editions in the US compaired to what they got in Japan so I douth it'd be any good even if they did.

Everyone has their reasons.

Probably because he's kind of replaced Reuben. I, for one, like to know who the voice actor is if I like his work. It gives me a chance to hear him in different roles.

Hey guys just a quick survey. I'm trying to show support of a collector's edition for DmC, so who would buy a collector's edition? Let's say the price would be around $79.99, which is usually the basic price for a collector's editon. Tell what you would want in the collector's edition and vote! :D

I'd love the collector's edition. I wanted to get the one for Enslaved, but I winded up waiting too long. Purpose of getting PS3 lost and brother hated me for not getting an Xbox360 @___@ great.

But it would be on my list, I'd kill to have that necklace that has Ebony and Ivory on it.

I would love a replica of The Order mask or Dante's necklace the E&I necklace is ok. On another note, I would buy the CE as long as it stays in 80 dollars worth, more than that would be ridiculous for just a necklace, artbook and soundtrack. I mean the artbook is unlockable in the game, so having a physical copy isn't that much of a novelty. I think 80 is fair pricing there (comparative to Castlevania LoS Limited edition btw).

I want DmC development diary and a poster or maybe soundtrack. something useful, I don't need another toy figure or something as useless as that :D

I'd love a poster. I was so jealous when I heard they were giving some away for those who played the demo. Now I-wait, I am still jealous!

It's kind of like how people love Reuben Langdon so much. He's voicing a favorite character.

Tim has sparked my interest because he's voicing Dante as well. I want to know if he got hate mail from fans like Reuben did, and how his experience was in motion capturing.

Well, I should remind people that voice actors aren't really that big a part of spacial features on any CE that I know of.

For more on Tim's precence you're provably going to have to wait till much after the release.

The only time I've seen anything related to the voice acting of the DMC cast was on DMC 3 and 4's artbooks.

Then again, NT got on the map because of their motion capture technology so there is a bigger interest in it when it comes to them. So, while Capcom might not place much interest on their actor's performance, NT might. A behind the scenes is rather unlikly on a CE but it's possible that'll be there on a book or on a web release.

I would make sure a DmC collector's edition is in my collection no matter what is included in it (or no matter what version of devil may cry it was).

DLC, doesn't apply to me as I have no way of getting it... *sighs* remember the good old days when you had the stuff on disc and you had to unlock it yourself? I loved those days *dreams*

I miss those days. I wish they had never changed that part of gaming.

DMC3 sure had a lot of behind the scenes stuff, I'd miss it if there wasn't something similar here. I mean, there is unlockable artwork, so why not developer dairies too?

Actors are usually a big part of video games now. Sly Cooper, Metal Gear and God of War all did little vignettes with the voice actors. Enslave and Heavenly Sword did it so we can expect one for DmC. Or not.

I wanna original Dante costume (Complete with Reuben Langdon doing the in game voice acting)

A replica of the rebooted Ebony and Ivory.

And a Ponified Dante.

EDIT: Why does everyone want the Order mask when it is just the stupid version of Guy Fawkes mask? and I bought the Guy Fawkes mask at party city for about 7 dollars.

Ask for that with DMC5. And keep anything pony related far away from this Dante. He doesn't need anything cute associated with him.

As for the mask, probably because not everyone wants an exact replica of the Guy Fawkes mask and this one does have some differences.

My only regret is that I can like your post only once. That mask is pure awesomeness.

And yes, no.... versions of Dante that I would have a problem with. Agree 100%.

I probably wouldn't get the mask. Not unless I could put it on my wall. The necklace is more what I'd like. lol.

Some of the things people do to Dante can get pretty disturbing.

Some of the things they do to themselve regarding Pony fandom is pretty disturbing.

Anyway. DMC4 got a bluray in Japan for their preorders, this one needs something more interesting. With every DMC I alway wnated something special but they always fall short to impress me with Colector's Editions. RE gets some bad ass ones in Japan, FF's got a few kick ass CE, Halo, Batman, Assasin's Creed, CoD. DMC has never really ever impressed me, though. I guess Capcom doesn't care to come up with anything worth while that makes me go 'HOLY S%#T, I must have that!!!'
