Who is you favourite Devil May Cry character?

The twins, but i really can't answer who i like more, i like Dante because of his mindset and funny acting, and Vergil because i can see some traits of my personality in him (but obviously, i'm not even half as badass as he is) and i like the way he's kinda a mysterious character, i would want to see a little more about his story.
I never see that much support for Gilver as a character (him being another one of the aliases that Vergil has) and when I talk to a lot of people, they don't often know about him, or that alias in particular. I'm glad that someone mentioned him in this.
I don't doubt that the twins are going to be tied at the end of this, as they are generally the most favoured characters.
After discovering the novel, my dislike for the retcons in DMC increased 1000X Fold.
I can understand why, although a retcon can just be irritating overall, no matter what it is in.
Carrier of a dark lineage, drowned in the blood of a thousand fold, harbinger of possibilities unknown... Vergil is in the lead.
I did say feel free to comment anyone you like, as I could only have a certain number due to the constraints of the forum. The only person I wasn't sure on putting in properly was Eva, the original list went as such (characters from the novels/manga/ animated series would be left to the comments)

A little too hasty to declare a winner there.
At this point of time, I see Dante with five votes and Vergil with only four.
DMC2 Dante and Lucia are my 1st fave male and female characters...
Second would be Anime Dante and Trish...
Then finally DMC3 Dante and DMc4 Gloria...

I definitely think it's going to be a tie between Dante and Vergil in the end, and awesome avatar, I had the same one not too long ago.
