Interesting but I hope my roommate is at least tolerable. The school I'm going to seems to be mature thus far.
Some places let you choose roomates and try to the best of their ability to fulfill your request. I would recommend trying to find a good friend to room with. Sounds better than a total stranger who may or may not be tolerable. Don't you agree?

...................College should be fun.
We seem to be on the same boat here. Im going to college in september too, however, my condition depends on my A level results. so I can only go if I get the grades they want. Which uni are you going to?

On topic: Proms are non existant in bangladesh. The older generation views dating very negatively and think of it as taboo. The system would never encourage such an event. So, we have to arrange prom ourselves at a location other than school and it is arranged by the graduating batch of our school. Only the graduating students can go however juniors can only go as dates for the seniors. I'm graduating this year ( school is finished:'( ) and hoping to spend a last day together with my batchmates at the prom. It's more like a graduation party than a prom. Im going single cause I dont like temporary dates and am waiting for that special girl ( plus I'm ugly ). Hoping to have a fun night.

P.s goodluck with college:D

I 'suffered' school rather than enjoyed it, like a prison term. Anything non-mandatory had no chance of seeing me turn up.
I'm sorry to hear that you suffered school, but I think school is the most fun and enjoyable part of a youth's life. I mean, for me my school was more of a club than a learning institute. I went there to meet friends, play football and just laugh around. and now that it's all over, I feel so hollow inside:ermm:.

We have prom at my school, and also school President, which are American traditions that caught on in England. The school President organises and plans prom, (With help,) but it's still a big responsibility!
For most girls the most important part of prom is the dress. There is a best dressed prize, and we all want to feel beautiful.:3 I'm really at a loss for what dress to go for! I have prom next year. :)

I only went for the experience and ill admit, our high school prom was corny as hell. We danced to old Michael Jackson music and stuff. It was hilarious though and I had fun with my friends.

Now a days I can't really enjoy parties . I went to one college party and that was it. Way too much drinking for my taste. The people there were amazing though. Had one professor trick my friend into streaking in front of the higher ups of the office lol. You'll enjoy college xD
