He'll have it for the full game if you play with the superior master race Crow Costume.
It's also buyable (and possibly unlockable) on consoles as well.
But answering your question, he'll most likely have white hair by the end of the game, you even unlock a white hair costume for him after beating it.
There could be a cut scene during the last fight, where you're getting your ass handed to you by Vergil, and then Dante's true power awakens, like in DMC3

I think the longer White hair Dante that has been shown and is unlockable will only be in the main game in an epilogue scene. Though i'm curious about some of the game play videos I've seen with the large white streak in his black hair.
Finally! Another person that gives some sign that they know of Vagrant Story. At least I hope you do, otherwise I'd like to know why you have a picture of Sydney on display.Have his hair fully white? pictures have been shown of him fighting what seems to be Mundus and then Virgil. Im just curious when it will happen

Well, we have those two things in common. VS is my favorite game, and Sydney my favorite character. I've never seen a character better than him. I beat the game a few days ago and started crying during the ending. Somehow my excitement over DmC has made me want to play VS again. I played it when it first came out, I found it hard at first but when I got into Its such a well written game even the ending was good which is hard to find games nowadays. I just love the whole atmosphere to it, I wish they would remake/sequel it actually remake as Sydney has to be in it
