Either a remake or prequel so Sydney will be in it. I'd like a prequel to tell his story. He's the one being hunted in the game, why not tell everyone more about him?

From what I've seen, it's hard to find a game that has such a great story and atmosphere. Not just a good ending. Then again I don't have many games.

I had a hard time with my first playthrough, too. I was 12 at the time, and wasn't that good to begin with. I had my brother play for me a few times until he moved out for a while.

You never said anything. lol. Next time I can't find my way in the game, I'm asking you since you've played it so much. Just not when I get to the Snowfly Forest. A map helps more there.

My thoughts exactly. It felt like it took two hours to win that fight.

I had a hard time with that one. Grissom kept killing me. What's funny is, when I was the one playing, Sydney would heal Riot. When I had my brother play it for me, Sydney just cast aid spells. Kind of seemed like he knew who was playing and was showing some favoritism.

Yer he always buffed m instead of healing me but yeah was a difficult fight .I thought last boss was rather easy thats because I wanted to avenge Sydney :P

He was easy the last time I fought him. I can't watch the scene where you see what happened to Sydney if I'm planning on going to bed, or getting something else done. Like you, I always want to avenge Sydney.
 
I like how badly this thread has derailed..oh well. I LOVE Vagrant Story, it's my favorite rpg, If i had a choice though i'd prefer a sequel...simply because Ashley looks so bad ass in his version of Sydney's clothes.
 
Also do either of you own it as a PSN Classic? i'm wondering how good it was emulated because i'm always tempted to buy it on there.

Yes its derailed quite a bit lol, Yer I think they could write a great sequel but alas will probably not happen :(

lol. I think Guildenstern was the main threat, and mostly wanted to kill him.

I love the warning he gave her. And the fact that he pretty much tells Riot to save Guildenstern's soul. I would not be so kind, probably.

Yer Sydneys control over the dark was amazing, like when he tells Rausenkratz (spelling) he ont kill him but he makes the statue come alive :P

I got kind of mad at him for that. He revives the statue to kill Rosencrantz, and then leaves so Riot has to clean up the mess. The least he could have done was stayed and helped. I wouldn't have complained about that.

Yes but I think Sydney was trying to keep ahead of Mr Romeo :P plus Throughout the game Sydney seems to be testing Riot to see if he's a worthy successor :)
