If it's DMC5, Capcom needs to go back to DMC1's story, potential, and everything in it, take DMC3's gameplay (I DO NOT WANT A COMPLETE COPY-PASTE OF IT LIKE DMC4 THOUGH!), put some better storytelling (ones who understood the first game's story), and I am hooked!
If it's DmC2, Capcom and NT need to do things right. Pick up the story Vergil's Downfall, combined DMC1/DMC3/DmC gameplay, more twisted levels (now that both Limbo and the real world merged), and I will also be hooked.
I'm someone staying in the sanctuary of both sides of the spectrum, so I get fed more!
But either way, Capcom isn't doing anything right with this franchise as of late. So I may agree with Dusk Stalker there. At what price? At what cost would it do? It wasn't just DmC that split this fanbase; to some extent, even DMC4 also did that! And I'm not the only one who thinks so! No no no!
The guy who wrote DMC1 Noboru Sugimori is dead and that only leaves Kamiya who was a co-writer for DMC1 who also wrote Bayonetta.......by himself....as well as Viewtiful Joe and Wonderful 101......by himself...........as well as Okami.[/quote
so what your sying is noboru sugimori has your support?
What I'm saying is Noboru Sugimori is dead. Shinji Mikami is gone and is about to retire.
sorry i meant kamiya
Damn... Don't tell me Tameem Antonaides isn't bad enough!Yeah he does but at the same not really since I don't agree with how he currently develops games or his design philosophy plus he is a bit of an hard-a$$.
I mean on Twitter someone told him he should ease up on the boss rematches in his games because practically all of his games does Boss Rematches to an extreme (in Bayonetta you face the same 4 bosses 4 TIMES and Okami is just DAMN making you fight Orochi with the same patterns and attack methods 3 times).
Want to know what his response is?
"I do what I want"-Hideki Kamiya @ Twitter
Damn... Don't tell me Tameem Antonaides isn't bad enough!
Maybe he turned like that after getting ****ed off like 100000000000000 times (according to his tweets)...!
How could people love someone who turned into someone deciding to do something like a damn ****ing contest?Unlike Tameem he actually curses people out.
Kamiya is always mad but he has Twitter for a reason if he can't handle the comments then delete his Twitter or take a break.
Even after the whole DmC situation ended he is still arguing with someone or engaging in a p*ssing contest with someone I guess their is other issues such as Bayonetta 2's exclusivity and W101 getting panned by critics.
But the fanbase still loves him.
It's like he intended Dante to be a big drunkard too! Well, that explains why there are hell tons of booze all over Dante's office, especially Jack Daniels #7 Tennessee Whiskey bottles all over it!Friends,
I guess I've the answer why Kamiya is the way he is. This is an answer too for the ones who asked why Dante was an alcoholic but he never smoked. Kamiya is what we can call a functional alcoholic, just like his Tony Redgrave was.You can find photos of him drunk in the net and stories about this in his twitter.
See this interview:
He was with his boss and his teammates in a interview about RE and that didn't stop him of passed out in front of them all few time after the interview began. These kind of habits could explain why he is always moody, grumpy, unstable or even why he says so many things, contradicting himself so many times.
I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see this video. This is rather unprofessional from his part.

And people complain on DmC Dante drinking booze on-screen and getting a hangover! As far as the manga goes, DMC Dante did get drunk so much that he proposed to a mop in his drunken haze!
How's the booze, Kamiya-san?
