Ooooh...uh I guess stuff like Pong and Space Invaders count but the first game I played that really grabbed me was a game called The Manhole (original 1988 release). I adored it so much - there is literally no point to it but at 6 years old, I didn't give a monkeys...

My first game was a sequel, but hot damn it drew me in. I blame the main theme of the game, it was one of the most upbeat and memorable songs I'd heard. Probably what got me into video game music too. XD
