What if Bayonetta..........................

TL;DR
when satire is executed poorly, we already covered this. However, your assertions are all based on "what people are probably doing" or "how she was probably designed" which doesn't help your case. You're correct, but for all the wrong reasons.

Well I personally understand why Bayonetta is the way she is. She's suppose to be overly sexuality, and is suppose to be ms. Spandex wonder. However...there's satire...and then there's wearing your own hair as clothes.

Maybe if you actually did read what I typed you'd see that I'm mainly talking about my thoughts on the kind of character Bayonetta is. Don't try to be a smartass when it's kind of obvious you don't even know what you're responding to. You even started of your comment with TLDR.

were you going to tell me why you think I'm wrong? or is this all?

I'll accept part of the responsibility for the miscommunication here; I've been using "TL;DR" as sort of a "in brief" instead of literally meaning "it's too long and I didn't read it". What I was saying in my reply to you was a summarization of what you said, which was basically the exact same as what I said earlier.

TL;DR
You and I agree, but for different reasons. Are you so ready for a fight that you're willing to challenge your own statements for the sake of an argument with me?

Well if such a crossover/combination were to happen (never will.) Bayonetta wouldn't be the sex symbol she is in the others. I was thinking a younger version of her that is good with guns and has amazing magic. much younger than her previous self and alot deeper and slightly more serious as well. That would be my REBOOT for her.

But I must appologize to everyone for this thread.......................please don't vote me off the island.

Sorry.................................................................................
would she still be Kat and Dante's kid?

Seeing as how that idea is so disliked i suppose she wouln't. maybe just a witch that is talenetd with guns and expert in hand to hand combat. Like a cross between Lady and Kat perhaps.

I just said Bayonetta is a dumb character and don't think the hyper sexualization of her is anything but stupid.

While we're kicking the peanut around on this, I'm thinking if anything this idea would work better with Kat being a descendant of Bayo instead, or having learned some of their less secret but still hard to find and learn arcane arts of her clan.

I like that........that could work well.

you keep repeating yourself like it's going to change something. Are you this unused to being agreed with?

I like that idea much less. Bayonetta's descendant is a crybaby damsel in distress hobo? The apple didn't just fall far from the tree, it landed on another continent and turned into a potato

Is there even a point on reboot a character to make him completely different? It's better make a new character from zero then, Kamiya openly admits that's Bayonetta is like the woman of his dreams and all those change don't fit her.

Other than that, I don't really see a reason to reboot it. Bayonetta isn't my kind of character and the story is mediocre (it's not like they even tried on this), but everything else it's alright. By the way, why are we talking about this here?

P.S.: http://gematsu.com/2012/10/senran-kagura-shinovi-versus-producer-talks-ps-vita-breasts Hypersexualization? Heh.
However I'm not too faithful in NT's writing, however they'd probably do a better job then Kamiya's so called "greatness in video gaming".
Aside from Bayonetta and DMC, Kamiya worked in Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Resident Evil 2 and now in The Wonderful 101. Considering that Kamiya is a director and Ninja Theory is a whole company...well, that's an unfair comparition.

Bayonetta is the woman of Kamiya's dreams? He has terrible taste. Told you Bayonetta was just his wet dream in video game form.

That article pretty much has nothing to do with what we're talking about here though.

I adore Viewtiful Joe and Okami was also great. I would much rather a sequel to those games happen. Bayonetta was dead for a reason. Nintendo played necromancer for that franchise because any game they can scrap up will be at least something considering how the WiiU isn't doing so hot.

He said something like she was in many ways his ideal woman in an old interview. Not my thing really.

About Okami, it was a huge dissapointment that Capcom announced something new for it and in the end they revealed merchandising, but that's better than the most likely death Viewtiful Joe.

And yes, it seems that Wii U lowered the sales again. It's so sad to the point that EA don't even want to release FIFA 13 there. Horrendous if you ask me.

P.S.: The article is related to the over-sexualization thing though. A bit off-topic anyway.

just going to point it out here, but no source for that was provided. You're backing your hearsay with more hearsay.

EA pretty much hates the WiiU. One of the guys at EA went voice all over on Twitter recently how much he thinks the WiiU sucks.

About that article, that quote from that dude "Tits are life, ass is hometown." lol.

I won't be playing that game though because I would never think of even getting a Vita. Who has a Vita?

Bayonetta as Kamiya's ideal woman: http://www.destructoid.com/bayonett...-woman--148356.phtml?t=Things+gamers+do&tab=1

This doesn't surprises me, since he seems to have a penchant for strippers and leather an these facts permeates at least a great part of his works: Dante's poster is a stripper, VJ's movieland is full of stripclubs and stripper's pictures. Even his games soundtracks are full of sexual themes or at least innuendos.
Later he admited prefer Jeanne and her style.Whatever...

+1 for citations
I never cared much for bayonetta, she just isn't sexy to me. If anything, the way she acts makes her the least sexually appealing character I've ever seen in a video game, and for a character that uses nakedness as a legitimate strategy, that's saying something. Either something went horribly, horribly wrong in an attempt to make something sexy, or kamiya is some kind of reverse psychology evil genius. Probably that first one though, looking at your link...

Kamyia wanted a sexy lady, but after sometime, well...Maybe not! http://forums.gametrailers.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1065169

About being a genius or just a crazy guy, maybe this explain some of his quick changes or freaking doings:
http://gonintendo.com/?p=119668.

Remember someone, in another thread, saying DMC was late at least an year because something Kamiya and his team has done? This is the reason.
Now join his insanity and his genial outburst and a bit of mother issues and you get the guy:troll: .

Sorry if I'm going out of topic.
