What if Bayonetta..........................

REAPER 3142

Revenge Solves Everything..............
This is just an idea so please, I don't want hate mail or any wars going on.............if you dont like it just say I don't like it.

With that said...................what if Bayonetta got a reboot via being DmC Dante and Kat's child. Fighting Angels and Demons alike to save as many people as she can as well as frequently combating Vergil's child (her cousin.) from taking over(possibly Jeanne.-I think I spelled that right.).

A little slim on details right now, but i have been playing DmC and Bayonetta and love them both so much.

Bayonetta's combat is great, but man is that story weak.

Thoughts, ideas?

I dislike the character of Bayonetta so this gets all my NOPE.

Plus, Dante and Kat's relationship is purely platonic in DmC. Maybe they would possibly share a more romantic relationship in the future but as of now it they're just friends.

Bayonetta doesn't need a reboot because Nintendo brought it back from the dead for a sequel. I really don't want to see that character touch anything I'm personally interested in though. I couldn't care less about Bayonetta. I care about Devil May Cry though. Seeing the two crossover is a big nope in my book. Nasty,

As much as I love bayonetta, I'd have to give that a pass. I can't imagine her being mixed in with that cast -_-

That is an interesting idea though.

I personally love that idea, actually.

What was cool back in 2010 isn't cool anymore... :troll:

Love Bayonetta because its all about gameplay and fun, it doesn't waste my time with believable character crap and story bulls**t, plus I hate DmC as much as Chancey289 hates Raiden, so my answer is: NO F**KING WAY!!!

Bayonetta sucks. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I can go on and on about how crappy the characters, the theme and the enemies are in Bayonetta. It's a shame that it has good gameplay. The gameplay is actually great, however, such a crappy protagonist doesnt deserve such great gameplay.

Are you freaking joking with me?

Aside the story enemies, the monster enemies in Bayonetta is BLOODY AMAZING!

I always loved the cutscenes when each enemy was introduced. I swear i was hyped everytime a new enemy appeared .

And Grace and Glory

Platinum Games biggest flaws that stops them from earning money is that they dont always take story and characters to seriously.

They take game design and gameplay extremely serious and they are good at it (one of the best).

But when it comes to presentation and story they go all "Story? What story? We just kill things".

If Bayonetta was less japanese in it's nature (music for example), wasn't as sexual as it is, and the story was decent: Then tons of people would have bought the game besides hardcore hack and slashers.

With Anarchy Reigns i went "Wow **** this is good" with the story, then again that game was directed by someone else than Kamiya.
But i can easily imaginen someone seeing The Baron (Pimp guy) and go "lol what a unserious game, not my style".

Which is untrue, Anarchy Reigns have some crazy scenes that is worth applauding. And i'd argue that Anarchy Reigns in term of story is around same level as DmC.

If you go sad story =good story then your wrong. DmC is more sad than Anarchy Reigns, but that doesnt mean because its more sad...more serious that its a better story.

The better story is one that will make you laugh , feel sad emotions and other feelings. Not just 1 "Omg my life is so sad".

I like Bayonetta as a game, but I can't imagine her character in DmC, especially not as the child of Kat and Dante.
For start, Kat and Dante were not romantically involved, just really close to each other because of what they went through.

Also, I just don't see Bayonetta's personality or anything matching up to Dante or Kat....that and it would make Bayonetta a goodnes-knows-what species-wise.
What is the name for something who has parents that are human, and a half angel/demon? Bayonetta already had the half umbra witch/ lumen sage thing going on. I don't want her origins to be even weirder. :P

Grace and glory, and the dog thing were the only things I liked in bayonetta. The bosses were disgustingly disfigured "things", the stages were good, The protagonist was was A horny, slutty, witch who dances in her birthday suit while her nipples are covered by hair. The guy with the scarf is a good for nothing journalist ( or someting ) who disgraces Trish's name by saying that a loser like him dated a girl named trish. It was just way to sexualised for my liking. It's like symbolic game of a horny and perveted man, trying to overcome his disgusting sexual fetishes. What's worse is that She has the Audacity to rip off one of Dante's best quotes.

LoL, I enjoyed most of that stuff. Personality was rather "nails on a chalkboard" for me after awhile though. Like you couldn't ask her for the time without getting put down or making some innuendo, and she's trying to be sexy every second of the day. It's like if Dante from 3 or DmC went through the entire game being a sarcastic witty untouchable badass without eventually finding their focus or reason to go beyond themselves. Basically a character with no reason to get invested in. I hope they go somewhere with her character in the coming WiiU game this time.

I'll give it to her though that she made "Flock off featherface" sound cool.

Bayonetta had a lot of potential. The gameplay and the visuals were orgasmic ( so was the protagonist until you had played for 10 minutes, after that it became extremely irritating ). If only Kamiya tried to please the gamers through actual video game elements instead of doing so by giving us a character who's main goal and passion seems to be dancing naked and making others horny.

Hassan i disagree, the enemies were pretty decent. About Bayonetta, i don't care, thats not what i was argumenting for :P

As for Dante's quote being ripped off: newsflash Kamiya came up with concept of Dante.

He can do whatever he pleases.

It's true he was hired to do a job, creating Dante, but even paid workers pour their heart into their creations.
