Ok so ever since Nero got Yamato, he uses it in every single cutscene but in gameplay we only use it to a very limited degree in DT...
What gets me mad about Nero and Yamato

Yeah that's an old gripe of mine as well. Such wasted opportunity. Same with Dante.

Yeah I get that but I wish we could have switched between Yamato and Red Queen as it would make some very unique combo's just like how Dante switches Devil Arms.

I agree that's always bothered me too. For the dt, okay. But at the end it's the only weapon Nero's seen using in the cutscenes, I think he should have at-least been able to use it during the two last missions

Nero probably wouldn't be very good at wielding Yamato, so that's also another reason why. Looking at the bigger picture, Nero doesn't acquire any other Devil Arms because most assume he hasn't got enough experience to use them so they lumped him with a customized sword instead.

Yeah, that was pretty lame of Capcom to do. We could've gotten at least a dual wielding Nero, ala, Roxas from KH2
