What do u think NT is gonna reveal at gamescom?

Hey, when is Gamescom?

I know it's not a complete information drought right now, but it's pretty boring other than the single new screenshot we've seen.

IMO DMC4 was better than DMC3 gameplay wise its not about speed when one game even if it is a little faster when the other allows for more creative freedom and overall better gameplay. If people can still go nuts in those TrueStyle tournaments and nero offered something new to the series and he plays completely differently from Dante and even Vergil.

DMC3 just had a better story, characters(debatable), more bosses, was harder(although DMC4 had hell & hell mode), better devil arm selection....wait no....and was kinda longer by a few hours.

Either that or trolling like he says he isn't. lol

His arguments make less sense as he speaks XD
Except you guys are missing my overall arguement

I've said it from square one, my main problem with this game is that they sacrificed stylishness for brutality, but just because of the responsiveness of the combat, they are calling it "DMC". Despite lacking the stylish feel of the combat. But what makes me even more angry, is that they sacrificed the stylishness for brutality IN ORDER TO FIT THE FREAKING STORY, when Devil May Cry was never a story based game as much as one that prided itself on gameplay.

Devil May Cry already has its brutal aspects in combat.

Devil May Cry does have a story and even DMC4 was driven by its story that we had to play as a newcomer Nero more over Dante mainly because Dante's story is over(DMC1 was the middle, DMC2 was the end, & DCM3 was the beginning of Dante's story). Capcom did a smart thing and focused on a new character(in DMC4) for the SAKE OF THE STORY if it was Dante again. Capcom like many game companies know that nowadays a series continuation is a balance of its gameplay mechanics/features and story. You can't continue a game series if there is no sensible way to continue the story or anyway to further the gameplay or improve it to ensure a new game experience(meaning if you did everything already whatelse can you add).

Plus this Dante's fighting style isn't nearly as brutal as Nero's fighting style......and if your complaining about Capcom sacrificing Stylish action for Brutality Capcom already did that long ago(DMC4).

Let me put it this way, I have no doubts this game is going to be good, Capcom have proven in the past, that they know how to make a hack and slash. However! This game is more of a stand alone stereotypical brutal hack and slash, but instead, to rake in more money, Capcom slapped the DMC Title on there. When in mine and many others eyes, it is nothing like DMC. That is my problem.

A half demon demon hunter who is the son of Sparda, a legendary dark knight/demon who saved the world from demon dominion thousands of years ago, who slays demons with stylish and brutal combos while looking badass and humorous with his trusty handguns Ebony & Ivory, his trademark sword Rebellion, and pretty much has the same moveset that Dante has in every DMC game mixed with some of Nero's mechanics and his moveset. He battles against an army of demons out to bring mankind to its knees and their ring leader Mundus and unleashes brutal devastation upon his demonic foes by whipping out a large arsenal of combos, attacks, and limitless maneuvers with stylish execution.......:Pyup its nothing like DMC.

I guess you like many others don't understand the concept of a reboot.

Looks pretty stylish to me...hell they have Rain Storm and being able to ride on demons in here.

Why be so quick to assume they put the title DmC on a brutal game rather than them just putting brutal game-play (along with other additions and tweaks) in a DMC game?

Besides, this game Doesn't have DMC slapped on to it. It's a different game, it's got a different title... DmC. They did'nt actually change anything at all about DMC. They made a whole new franchise, based on an existing one, to do that.

That's debatable, because when they asked Itsuno "what are the things that you thought were needed to be kept for this to be a DMC game?" He answered with "how cool do Dante's moves look and how cool do you feel doing them." So, basically, they are trying to make this game look stylish like the last few, not straight out brutal.

Honestly, I see where people are coming from with the brutality aspect that they see in it, but it still look pretty stylish to me regardless. I mean, those scythe moves looks like Dante is dancing with the thing... so they look really sweet. His use of the Rebellion is a lot more rough though. You could argue that this is done because he is younger and all, but the fact that it looks more like he's waving a stick around like a dumb crazy person still remains.
