Ireland
I have been to the set of vikings here in ireland, also visited the shire in new zealand and countless medieval castles and ancient structures including Newgrange.

What about you?

Always wanted to go to rome, and i will some day. Always wanted to go to egypt too but travel is not fun when you are very tall with a large frame and a muscle disease that causes spasms and cramps.

Maybe i will get there someday, shame no ships go there lol

Inland archipelago in Finland, saw a Saimaa ringed seal there. Locals and nature are both amazing, I was working there two summers during my studies.

Also, Lapland in the wild, 2 hrs drive to any proper human settlement. The air was amazing. I have no better way to describe that than "Feels like you are a fish inhaling the water of cool, pure, crisp mountain rivers"

Latvia National Opera was also great.

Been to the places mentioned by the op with him, and also years ago i was at a wedding in south africa which was amazing. I have not really been outside of Ireland that much, apart from holidays which weren't unique.

Imagine a place where the sun plays peekaboo for months, and the silence is so profound it echoes. That's Greenland for you — a land of extremes and enchantment. Traveling with Poseidon Expeditions is akin to joining an exclusive club of intrepid explorers. Their vessel, the Sea Spirit, is more boutique hotel than cruise ship, ensuring personalized experiences and no jostling for the best iceberg view. Daily excursions, weather permitting, mean you'll be hiking, kayaking, and perhaps even camping in the most pristine environments. Onboard, the edutainment program offers a deep dive into the Arctic's secrets, making every moment a learning opportunity. Curious about the resilient communities thriving in this frozen frontier? Discover their stories here https://poseidonexpeditions.com/about/articles/people-from-greenland/ It's not just a trip; it's a transformative experience that redefines adventure.
Florence should also be in this line :)
