What characters do you want to see in the sequel?

What are you gonna do with all that power?

Okay, if the reboot got its sequel, who do you want to see again? Besides Dante, Kat and Vergil, obviously.

I would love to meet more characters to give the story a bit more depth. Would love to see more of Sparda since they intentionally didn't show us what he looks like. I think Eva's side of the story was nice the way it was, but a little flashback wouldn't hurt. Speaking of flashbacks, I would love to see more of Dante and Vergil when they were still kids! (I'm hardly counting the white silhouettes.)

Um, yeah, that. And some new characters. Other nephilim, maybe.

I would love to see a rebooted Trish. Make her a little more interesting in the reboot then the original games. I'd also like to see a few new bad guys from different forms of media. An evil rapper maybe, a devilish supermodel, an obsessive priest who believes he was serving god but was serving demons, and maybe a warlock.

I'd also like a scientist to be in it. If anything just to have a character who tries to rationalize everything logically, only to have it all blow up in his face.

If it isn't too much trouble, I'd like to see a black ally in the game. Like maybe he could be the Watson to his Sherlock.

Devilish supermodel, definitely. And that priest, too. I feel like a priest who firmly believes that everything he's doing is right would only serve to get on my nerves, but I think that would make for an excellent villain. Esp very satisfying to take him down. Just think about Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. What a pain.

I'd like to see a rebooted Trish because...

Well, let's be honest, because I like boobs.

As for the new character, maybe a psychiatrist who is insane and willing to perform some "special treatment" to anyone who believe the demon actually exists ?

I've been playing too much Outlast lately...

I'd like to see Trish show up in the reboot.

For angels, I'd wanna see Azrael who helps Dante as well like Phineas.

For more bad guys, I'd like...
- celebrity popstar: similar to Miley Cyrus, KeSha, Nicki Minaj
- someone obsessed with horror slasher films
- evil rapper: similar to LMFAO

I'd like to see Phineas return. I found his character interesting. I'd also like to see some angels, but I don't have any specific angels in mind. I just want to hear their side of the story. We know how the demons felt about Sparda and Eva's union, so I'm curious where the angels stand on the issue and their relationship with humanity. Since they didn't really interfere all that much when Mundus was in control. Or maybe they did and failed? Who knows.

What if the Nurse from the Lamia Orphanage that Dante killed came back as a demonic character...or maybe the psychiatrists/specialists that imprisoned Dante in the criminal institutions as a teenager?

Maybe we'd find out who that voice is from the TGS 2011 trailer...the repeatedly one asking Dante his name..
What if he came back as a Josef Mengele-type character, a demon who posed as a doctor that "helps people get well again?"

What if, what if...

I want to see a rebooted Lady, a human resistance fighter against demons and Angels.

The Angels who help Dante will be Azrael and Michael, with the others out for blood.

A Knight Templar style priest trying to kill the "Abominations" known as Dante and Vergil.

And a demon hunter based off Captain Harlock.

I wouldn't mind of a expy of other capcom properties appearing as a crossover and a wink and nod to the fans but not necessarily the main focus.

Personally, I'd prefer to see Reuben Langdon get some kind of role as a character, but not an important one. Hell, maybe not even the story that long but rather for a promo thing. Like a webseries
Some guy in the Order who Dante dicks around with a lot while Kat just looks at them and sighs because she didn't have to put up with that guy when Vergil was in charge, while Dante takes a liking to the guys don't care attitude.

I would prefer if Kat developed into some form of Lady, not only because I liked Lady, but because it would make sense that now she's had some kind of experience with demons, she would learn to fight them. I also would want her to have less guns this time around. With something more akin to her abilities in the last one, I'm fine with pistols and stuff, but less Kalina-Ann rocket launcher, more Kalina-Ann crazy voodoo magic ****.
Also, because, I don't think Vergil is ready for the role of series antagonist after being overshadowed so much in the first game.
So instead bring in Arkham, who would've been Mundus's right hand man after Sparda or something. That would give us the chance to bring back Jester, who they hopefully play like he was in DMC3, Arkhams way of psychologically torturing the protagonists by acting all happy and jolly at downright terrifying moments of their lives (Tim Curry or John De Lancie would be perfect)

I wrote a little fanfic series where Dante had to run what was left of the Order, and only a handful of Order members stuck around to help. One of them is similar to the rational/scientific type DragonMaster2010 mentioned, in that he's a programmer who's in denial of his own psychic abilities and attempts to use logic to explain things despite the confirmed existence of demons. I also had a former-stripper-turned-demon-hunter and a dude who cleans supernaturally-caused crime scenes.

What I'm getting at is that I'd like to see a wider variety of characters to better see into the life of the average (well, "average") resident of Limbo City.
