I just don't like Brown, end of. Or Darling for that matter.
Wait. Is this really inplying that you thought that lib dem had any kind of chance of getting into no.10? lawl
Considering the amount of hype about them lately, and the staggering amount of popularity that Nick Clegg had behind him at the start of this running, they actually DID have a real chance of getting in this time, however, as usual, Clegg falls down at the first hurdle by impressing everybody at the BEGINNING of the campaign.
If he'd waited 'till the end to systematically impress everyone, the smear campaign the media kicked up wouldn't have been anywhere near as effective as it was and everyone wouldn't have bloody forgotten that Lib Dem impressed them in the first place.
You see, people are idiots and some sort of cross between a sheep and a magpie.
Give them the shiniest jewel right off the bat and eventually they'll get bored and look for other jewels, the few that kick up a stink eventually creates a snowball effect which pulls everyone else along with it, because they've got to be with the "biggest crowd".
So yeah, if Clegg actually waited until the very end of the campaign before pulling out the big guns, we wouldn't be talking about hung parliaments, Lib Dem would have the majority, plain and simple, because you look back at absolutely every single opinion poll, during the first couple months of the running, Lib Dem were head over heels in front of Labour and the Conservatives.
