*reads*....................Oh. :blush:Hopefully the amendments to the rules and guidelines will stop the endless spamming of the report button over stuff that really isn't worth reporting...
Oh! Well never mind then. Why so blushy? It's most certainly not aimed at any one report specifically - more the sheer volume of them we've had recently, usually within the same thread, that could be solved by sticking another member on ignore rather than reporting them every time they post. The last thing you reported was actually a smart move considering it's been a bit up in the air concerning what is and isn't allowed with that particular topic. I'm talking about using the function as a babysitter because someone doesn't like the post they've just read for no reason other than it annoys them or whatever. That's what ignore is for, not report.
Haha - nothing happens as such unless the member of staff who claims the report in order to handle it deems it is necessary. We read each and every report made but not every single one is followed up with visible action. Sometimes it is better to handle a situation privately or dismiss it altogether in favour of seeing how things pan out or if we think the report is unwarranted and rather instead due to the over-sensitivity of the reporter than any rule-breaking per se.OOOO! Can I report myself and see what happens?
But that's so technical and boring!Haha - nothing happens as such unless the member of staff who claims the report in order to handle it deems it is necessary.
