Wow.. DmC has taken its inspiration from so many different things. Good to know that. I guess it's ok cuz if your end product is up to the marks, no one would really care about that.

If this game were part of the main series and they didn't change his hair or story, no one would mind the new engine, the switch to 30 FPS, or the several new additions to the environments and gameplay. Whenever you start off not liking something, you start hating things you normally wouldn't just to make yourself feel justified.
I'm sorry, but you mind tellin' me how do you know that? Just curious.

I actually do find it very cool that this game is taking inspiration from Soylent Green. As sometimes you just look back and see Soylent green is a forgotten classic.

So 2 thumbs up for Tameem and Ninja Theory
Random we know you're the troll of this forum.

We enjoy proving you wrong.
I remember when Tony_Redgrave gave me the nickname "Super Pony Troll 2000", but I'm more of just the guy who is hellbent on getting a pony into every thread,

Oh BTW

Things like this have happened before. Remember when they switched Snake with Raiden? The gameplay was a huge improvement upon the first Metal Gear Solid, but it got such a horrible reputation just because Raiden was in it, and not Snake. Of course, people would say "It wasn't just Raiden" but that's what got them to start hating the game.

Besides, it's very obvious people don't like a slight change in a series. So even small changes freak people out though they don't really decrease the value in the product.

Yeah, remember Infamous 2 how they changed him from bald? Then they kept changing his hair style. The black one turned out the best but tooooo many people complained about him not being bald blew the whole ****!

Then they complain about characters always being bald. Smh.

I remember that. My issue was changing the voice actor, not the looks, but the new VA did a good job. Besides, it maes sense for him to grow hair eventually. I guess people prefer the "Jason Statham" Cole from the first game.

In the cutscenes in 1 he actually did have hair. Blonde hair at that.

I never thought I would see a talking, pink pony snap a bear's neck while yelling "**** you!"

I see, saying **** you is also becoming common with kids cartoon nowadays. So, why was there big fuss with Dante cussing? oh wait.. I get it, it's called troll ....wait for it ..ing!

Actually, no cartoon oriented for kids is going to say a cuss word but rather some form of it.
