I believe that.......but his videos does have links that can help you plus I don't want to waste time to look for a video to find words that some guys said. If you going to buy the game.....buy the game.....I'm doing the same too.You do know that guy is sick? Like he takes medicine?
So don't push that stuff onto me. I want what Tameem said, not some random nerd.

I do know some words I heard them say like.
Tameem, "I don't care" -in response to negative feedback.
Alex Jone "Just play and enjoy the game and don't let the hair bother you"[/quote]
They're not on forums like you and I so they really don't make it apart of their busy schedule to skim through them for negative reactions. I wouldn't give a **** about people who don't know how to make a game neither.
What I don't understand is how people think these guys are not focused on their work. It's like blah blah blah everyone has something negative to say about everything. That's just how it goes! I can feed a bunch of people and someone will be ****ed off at me for it.
Thing is, we wouldn't get anything DMC if it weren't for NT. Straight up.
Well I would say it is inspired by a lot of science fiction, its easy to see some of the connections, The Matrix ( Machines controlling us without us knowing, using us as food (energy) Soylent green, though I think people were actively encouraged to commit suicide in that one and then turned into food. Yum, yum. Equilibrium, the resisitance, general control by the media and surveillance. V for Vendetta. There's a lot of influences I can see in this game. You should check out Nineteen Eighty-Four as well.
So thats:
Soylent green
The Matrix
Equilibrium
V for Vendetta
Nineteen Eighty-Four
anyone see any other inspirations? early days yet though.
No I'm a hundred percent sure he wasn't being cynical and many fans are just purposely misinterpreting his words....I can help you with that.
Watch this guy's videos...he IS A MAJOR DOUCHE who misinterpret Tameem's and Alex Jones words.
There is more but I don't wanna post them all.
I'm surprised my last post didn't go through.
I was saying we wouldn't have anything else DMC if not for NT.
I've never heard Tameem say "I don't care."
Here you go;I'm surprised my last post didn't go through.

I'll admit now I couldn't help it. I should have turned into the 'suave freelancer', and thanked him for taking the time to do this talk. At the very least I should have become the adoring fan, praised him for Heavenly Sword, and told him how I couldn't wait to get a copy of Enslaved.
I instead assumed the snarky journalist persona, and without thinking asked, “So, how do you feel about the fan reaction to DMC?”
Tameen looked at me a moment and took a drag of his cigarette. Then without blinking, and without pausing to exhale the smoke from his mouth he said, “I don't care.”
And neither should any other developer.
I happen to be a fan of that "douchebag", thank you very much.No I'm a hundred percent sure he wasn't being cynical and many fans are just purposely misinterpreting his words....I can help you with that.

This was the quote that annoyed everybody, just the fact that Alex Jones thought only the hair was the problem is pretty biased.
Random we know you're the troll of this forum.
We enjoy proving you wrong.
Random's not a troll.
He's just a fan of the series, like us, and he has his cons.
Just like you and I agree DMC3 Dante looked like a flaming manwhore.
Right?
I happen to be a fan of that "douchebag", thank you very much.

In all fairness video games these days(especially DMC) has a habit from taking or having influence from other existing and popular franchises....well at least DmC is using serious western films rather than anime/manga for its influence.
wow I did not know that thanks for the history lesson...... man I love this phone. That has happened since the dawn of time, nowadays people just don't remember where the classics took their inspiration, for example Metal Gear took many things from John Carpenter's Escape from New York which took elements from 1984 and many others ...
Enjoy being the fan of a just as biased douche bag.I happen to be a fan of that "douchebag", thank you very much.
