You do know that guy is sick? Like he takes medicine?

So don't push that stuff onto me. I want what Tameem said, not some random nerd.

I believe that.......but his videos does have links that can help you plus I don't want to waste time to look for a video to find words that some guys said. If you going to buy the game.....buy the game.....I'm doing the same too.

I do know some words I heard them say like.

Tameem, "I don't care" -in response to negative feedback.

Alex Jone "Just play and enjoy the game and don't let the hair bother you"

They're not on forums like you and I so they really don't make it apart of their busy schedule to skim through them for negative reactions. I wouldn't give a **** about people who don't know how to make a game neither.

What I don't understand is how people think these guys are not focused on their work. It's like blah blah blah everyone has something negative to say about everything. That's just how it goes! I can feed a bunch of people and someone will be ****ed off at me for it.

Thing is, we wouldn't get anything DMC if it weren't for NT. Straight up.

..........wait what...what do mean anything DMC...are you talking about DmC cause DMC has been around before NT was formed.....also understand what you mean by NT too busy to properly handle negative feedback or tend to b*tchy fans who don't know sh*t about making a game themselves but regardless they're the fans and the people who buy the games...you don't want to **** them off more than you already has. I understand the "I don't care" wasn't meant to be offensive but many people can take it offensively and twist it anyway....he could've said anything else.

I'm surprised my last post didn't go through.

I was saying we wouldn't have anything else DMC if not for NT.

I've never heard Tameem say "I don't care."

Well I would say it is inspired by a lot of science fiction, its easy to see some of the connections, The Matrix ( Machines controlling us without us knowing, using us as food (energy) Soylent green, though I think people were actively encouraged to commit suicide in that one and then turned into food. Yum, yum. Equilibrium, the resisitance, general control by the media and surveillance. V for Vendetta. There's a lot of influences I can see in this game. You should check out Nineteen Eighty-Four as well.

So thats:

Soylent green
The Matrix
Equilibrium
V for Vendetta
Nineteen Eighty-Four

anyone see any other inspirations? early days yet though.

There's also the British movie "Heartless."

No I'm a hundred percent sure he wasn't being cynical and many fans are just purposely misinterpreting his words....I can help you with that.

Watch this guy's videos...he IS A MAJOR DOUCHE who misinterpret Tameem's and Alex Jones words.

There is more but I don't wanna post them all.

Can we NOT involve him into this?

If I remember right, someone said Tameem said "I don't care" on his freetime when he wasn't being interviewed. But rumours are rumours, I haven't done a research on it.

Here you go;

I'll admit now I couldn't help it. I should have turned into the 'suave freelancer', and thanked him for taking the time to do this talk. At the very least I should have become the adoring fan, praised him for Heavenly Sword, and told him how I couldn't wait to get a copy of Enslaved.

I instead assumed the snarky journalist persona, and without thinking asked, “So, how do you feel about the fan reaction to DMC?”

Tameen looked at me a moment and took a drag of his cigarette. Then without blinking, and without pausing to exhale the smoke from his mouth he said, “I don't care.”

And neither should any other developer.

Son. Where is the link?

I'm disappointed.

Listen man, I believe I read somewhere that Tameem gave up smoking a long time ago.

I happen to be a fan of that "douchebag", thank you very much.
Alex Jone "Just play and enjoy the game and don't let the hair bother you"

This was the quote that annoyed everybody, just the fact that Alex Jones thought only the hair was the problem is pretty biased.

Back then, it was the biggest upset with ill minded fanboys. For others, it was more then that.

Random's not a troll.

He's just a fan of the series, like us, and he has his cons.

Just like you and I agree DMC3 Dante looked like a flaming manwhore.

Right?

Wrong. Because you see he follows the anti DmC guys. With their "Tameem said this" and "Alex Jones is an idiot". All this other crap you just explained.

Listen, I'm not trying to argue. I just don't like hearing small complaints about Tameem or Ninja Theory when it doesn't even matter. If you guys would give them constructive criticism like "Hey, the camera is a little janky." Then they can do something with it.. But name calling and all of this other stuff isn't helping anyone.

But it was one of the main problems when the game was announced.....it wasn't til E3 til I noticed people weren't complaining about his hair anymore and they're a few people who are still annoyed by the hair.

In all fairness video games these days(especially DMC) has a habit from taking or having influence from other existing and popular franchises....well at least DmC is using serious western films rather than anime/manga for its influence.

That has happened since the dawn of time, nowadays people just don't remember where the classics took their inspiration, for example Metal Gear took many things from John Carpenter's Escape from New York which took elements from 1984 and many others ...

But it was the hair that started it. If this game were part of the main series and they didn't change his hair or story, no one would mind the new engine, the switch to 30 FPS, or the several new additions to the environments and gameplay. Whenever you start off not liking something, you start hating things you normally wouldn't just to make yourself feel justified.
I happen to be a fan of that "douchebag", thank you very much.
Enjoy being the fan of a just as biased douche bag.
