Oh god! Triple demon shards! I can imagine those would kill you instantly on DMD mode.
It was nice to get a little bit of back and forth with Dante and Kat.
Plus I really like when Dante asks the demon, "Do you know where the mixing room is?" Lol

To be honest, I think the demon shards are kinda pointless. They make no sense to me at all.
I think it's to catch you of guard. If there's three there then you might get a whole string of them later on, more so if you're having to run away from someplace and don't have much time to aim and shoot.

Or, you could just dodge out the way.
Plus, from what I've seen, you can use the shotgun you get later on to one hit kill them.

Also, for the time it takes for the shards to actually fire towards you, I wouldn't say it catches you completely off-guard.
You see them appear, they take a minute to charge at you, and you are either forced to shoot them down or dodge out the way. They serve no actual purpose in my opinion.

I like how in the second video there is a lot of enemies thrown at you at once as opposed to 3 or 4.

Can I just say that Dante is genuinely witty in this? It's almost jarring to see because of the exchange he has with Poison. Heh, must have been her BO.
Also, dang, Kat. You got a nice behind.

That camera angle was completely to show off her skills at making her portals and nothing else... right? ;)

Thet really throw a lot of enemies on you, lol.

Really surprised with the number of foes ready to be killed...:)

Very good stuff, that stage is amazing. It seems to have a good concept and different routes. XD

I guess they're kinda like bombs in a way? o.o if you don't take the shards out quickly bam, you lose health.

It's supposed to another aspect of the world trying to kill you. Demonic Shards are literally pieces of Limbo that just break away and fly at Dante to try and kill him. They're just like traps that can be tripped in the game during movement sequences. sorta like the Faults in DMC4, but without taking you to a different area.

The first one in the demo is the only one that is ever given a small cutscene to display its presence. All the others appear without warning.

Was anyone else practically screaming at the second video "DEMON WEAPONS DON'T HARM ICE ENEMIES!!" lol!! :D

And of course you can one-shot them with the Revenant, but it also has a shorter range, and when they throw several at you at once, it's a bit of a different story. They just break up the monotony of walking and jumping - what's wrong with that? Don't be so overcritical, mang.

It's quite interesting the fact that lots of people were taking photos of the gameplay...

I kept hearing the recording noise, lol...:)

I just don't think they should be forced like that. Sure, the first time you see one, you might think it's cool and it might also catch you off-guard. But if it keeps happening again and again, you'll eventually get tired of them. The same cannot be said for regular enemies since they reward you with actual combat, rather than just shooting at them.

And I know I'm being overcritical. It's what I do. lol
