True motive of the Order?

i don't know about the order but Vergil could be motivated by helping his own kind , Nephilims !

i mean what if there are more than just Dante and Vergil ? what if we have more Nephilims in DmC universe ? wouldn't Vergil try to help his own kind even if it means betraying humans ?

think about it. all those images of demons and angels having family and kissing one another , They can't all be about Sparda and Eva !

besides there should be more than just two angel/demon hybrids cause they are an actual specie called "Nephilim" ! offspring of demons and angels which are hunted by one and ignored by the other , when humans don't even know about their existence !

if you ask me they need help more than any humans and Vergil will be more than happy to help them.

Uh, yes they can. Interesting idea, but we haven't seen anything to suggest there are more than Vergil and Dante. When Vergil brings it up he doesn't mention there are more of them.

So far as angels in the game, one video did show an angel for a split-second. It may have just been a chick at the night-club in an outfit, but the lighting was pretty 'heavenly'. I wouldn't mind one way or the other.

I don't think it's The Order itself we should worry about, but rather the man behind it, Vergil.
We all know this man in the previous series went mad for power. Now this new incarnation of Vergil has a whole group, no... an army at his command. If anybody, or hell, even his brother Dante cross him, what do you think he's going to do?

Dante and Vergil were already at odds in the damn trailer, deciding whether or not to abandon Kat, which by the way, Vergil was heavily against.
I think Vergil, and it turn, The Order as a whole has a goal to seize Limbo and rule over it as opposed to Mundus, but still be just as cruel as he was.

I wouldn't say Vergil ever "went mad with power," he just didn't give two ****s about the people he used to get that power. He was just very focused.

DmC's Vergil so far just seems to have a slightly better grip on social relations :p He's already shown that he'd sacrifice someone (Kat) to achieve his goals, just like the classic would.

clearly that scene has been cut in the demo and we don't have the full conversation of Dante and Vergil on that subject , so he might actually mention other Nephilims.

come to think of it , in one of the trailers there was an art painted on a wall about angels and demons and a Nephilim was standing in the middle of them.

i don't think anyone would have gone through the trouble to paint a Nephilim on a wall if there were only two of them and they were living secretly , in fact the painter couldn't know about Nephilims unless there were others besides Dante and Vergil

Well, Nelo Angelo won't be around for sure, but I assume Vergil and Mundus need some sort of connexion.

I assume Vergil would be a "triple agent" of some sort. Sent by mundus to rule the Order, so he can destroy it from within, and earn Dante's trust, while he is actually trying to get rid of Mundus and take his place, because he thinks he can make the world a better place if he were in control.

I think Dante will save the order. Maybe Kat could be their new leader.

Its corruption will always be a problem though. But I don't see it as a bad thing, only the "thinking heads" can make it bad. People in it are probably innocent.
I don't think that's true. Mundus does't know the existence of Vergil at the very beginning.
