The Entertainment Software Association makes annual surveys about gamers and according to their statistics, people play video games for 14 years, on average.

Players who are over 35 years old are a minority.

As for gaming, you're never too old to game. My interest in hardcore gaming may be fading, but not because I'm older. i just want to focus more on my life.

I've been playing games my whole life and will be playing games my whole life, it's my passion and my way of life.

Now will I keep playing modern and future games with the direction they're going? That's uncertain.
