That seems like a pretty dumb reason to fire an actor. Like, was the criticism really negative?
Well, he was also criticized for his portrayal. And he's got a rep for being argumentative and needy.

Really? Seriously this is ANOTHER actor whom I've heard is an argumentative or terrible to work with actor.
Okay why can't we just have a Myles morales Spiderman already? Geez.. why always peter parker? i'm sick&tired of seeing the peter parker being rebooted in the Movies.

I don't really know who this guy is, but I'll trust Marvel in whatever they saw in him for Spidey.
They might. One day. Miles Morales didn't just swoop in and take over the role randomly.
Current actors are getting old, and Downey Jr. and Chris Evans both expressed wanting to move on. Which probably means either Sam Wilson or Bucky will wear the Cap suit and shield post Infinity War. So, who knows - maybe Miles will take over one day.
