To haters and fans alike, can you explain why he is emo?

dmc isn't dmc without a laughing dante (dmc 2 don't count either)......but ppl hate that kind of stuff and prefer the ninja theory wacked up dante
 
google "emo", does he not fit the category with that hairstyle?

personally i think he looks more like one of those 80's rockers
 
I've think the problem with this is that there is no concrete evidence to support anyone's claim that he is or isn't emo so till we see a cut scene or dialog then we should chill.

No, no it doesn't. It means he looks like one. We've seen nothing from his attitude, but damn you admitted yourself he looks like one. None can say he is acting "emo" and none can say he don't.
 
I honestly can't take this new Devil May Cry game seriously, since it'll be running on an Unreal engine. =/ That's an engine most lazy developers use because its cheap...Devil May Cry NEVER ran on Unreal technology. Unreal in general is just slow. Devil May Cry gameplay is too fast paced to be handled by Unreal. Dante even had white hair as a kid, as shown in the Devil May Cry anime and manga novels...So yeah, this bullshit Ninja Theory is going on about how DmC will serve as an origin story is just **** being talked from their ass. C'mon now, honestly. So even if we debate if this new Dante is emo or not, in the end it shouldn't even matter considering this Dante will most likely have no relation to the original Dante we knew and loved. To be honest, not even Nero was this bad. Hell, I'd take Nero over this new Dante ANY day. BUT. Taneem did say that as we progress in DmC, towards the end, that DmC Dante will shape up to look like original Dante. Huh...I guess all hope isn't lost after all. I did notice a bit of white on Dmc Dante's hair. How about you guys? lol, Skunk mode! XD Skunk trigger's gonna be so beast. =P Jk. But yeah, we'll wait until this year's E3 guys. DmC gameplay is scheduled to be shown then. In all seriousness, though...Why reboot a well received and critically acclaimed game series with an already established fanbase? It makes no sense at all. v.v Its why I lost a little faith in Capcom...Taneem was going on about how old Dante isn't cool anymore, and his style compared to today's standards is a bit outdated. What the ****? If anything, emo style was SO 70s...
 
They thought DMC4 sold poorly, which a lot of sites seem to support.

Also, I love how you say Taneem... XD It reminds me of a book series I read a while back.
