Was just wondering what the public opinion on Capcom is right now. Do people still consider them crapcom? Or has their recent releases redeemed them?

For me Resident Evil 7 was the redemption point, before that I blacklisted and avoided all their games and viewed them in the same way as EA, Activision, Ubisoft and Konami.
But I can purchase their games with good confidence again so Capcom has been redeemed in my eyes, at least until they inevitably screw up again.

I think they wobbled a bit for a while , but are hitting their stride again now
The general consensus is that ever since RE7 they've been turning from Crapcom back to Capgod, with only one good fighting game missing to complete the transition.
They're certainly on a winning streak right now with the releases of RE7, MHW, MegaMan 11, RE2R and DMC5, MVCI is probably the only major stain in recent memory.

General opinion ive been seeing is that people seem pretty happy with Capcom right now and they have had a few hits after each other that have helped turn things around.
