Im feeling good because my writing coach liked what i wrote over the week.

Which is funny bevause i thought this week's writing was bad but she thought it was the best i've done.

Im feeling optimistic about getting published now.

In college, they teach you poetry as part of a creative writing course.

Ive written poetry but i dont think i understand it.

According to my writing coach, i write in layers which makes me sound like a baker.

my WIP is called "Mavericks". Its about a teen refugee that turns to magic in order to find his missing parents.

My writing coach recomended Yusuf falling for someone screwed up so i've been thinking about what that would be like.

I'm struggling with the ol' art block. I haven't got my main pc up and running. My drawings/pixel art aren't getting any attention, and I look at my old work and just feel down.

I've also been looking over my old stories on this site and have even considered going back to writing... But I don't know what I should write about.

inspiration is curiosity meets excitement.

so look at what you are interested in or what you are dissapointed in from other stories as a starting point.

i have two current WIP novels titled "False Star" and "Mavericks"

Both are stalled because Act2 is intimidating me.

so i have to sort out my ideas and feelings. Hopefully i crack a method i can use in future projects.

one of the reasons I'm procrastinating on my debut novel is because i want it to be the start of a series.

so im putting too much pressure on myself ala focusing the forest rather than enjoying the trees for what they are.

first impressions do matter but i gotta enjoy this ride.
