I wish my screen was shaking with the old Dante and not Only Nero.

Old Dante isn't gone... We haven't lost him just because of this reboot. It might not be what the majority wants, but it doesn't change the past games. Just enjoy this game for what it is and take from it what you like and put what you dislike aside. Don't let it ruin your experience.
 
You understood me wrong.I ment that it would have been cool for the screen to shake on every hit like in this DmC with Dante.

Well since the blue sythe has a huge multi-enemy launcher, the rising rain storm is gonna be another trick to attack multiple juggled enemies!!!

While I don't think a reboot was necessary at all (if I can come up with a way to tie the games together then Capcom sure as hell can) I'll admit if the look at feel of DMC was kept the same (including Dante's look), but instead they just started the story over then I'd be pumped UP for it. A new DMC game? *squeeeee!!!!!!* But! Instead we got this reboot thing that looks by golly terrible even as an original game. Oh sure its not out yet, but given NT's track records I'm not expecting much. Heck I probably won't even play it because I don't have money to spend on games that don't interest me one bit.

So put simply, a DMC reboot I'm not against, its just this reboot that just looks so fugly that I don't like even as an original game. Oh well.

Ooooh, a reboot DMC that keeps Dante the same, but with a new story? *daydreams*

other than that, lotd, you might want to change the name to DmC reboot just to give a clearer idea of what you are talking about.

I was refering to the thread title since we dont know which devil may cry he is referring to, the classic series or the reboot. And i meant lord of the darkness, this thread's maker.

Its purpose is to explain the problems with both of them. But primarily Devil May Cry, to the point that a 'Reboot' was made.
