The future of DmC

I can't wait to see what DmC may have in store for us in the future. With the next Gen consoles on the way (Please don't mention PC to me, I'm not going to spend a thousand dollars on a PC when I don't even have a job and I'm not even old enough to drive), the visuals and framerates should be off the charts in a display of beautiful colors and awesome textures.

DmC has enough creative potential to spawn new games up to DmC5, which may possibly end instead of dragging it on forever like DMC4. Its an entire new universe which is a hell of a fun, and leaves the door open to unimaginable potential.
You're right. However with it's realistic tone to it I don't see so many opportunities.Because reality is a conservative concept with limitied possibilities. But I'm a person who always makes potential scenaries and continuations and possible next stories and characters so why not. There are possibilities after all.
If you have a creative mind you can make something original and fascinating out of everything, that's why I think every story on its own has potential if there's someone who can make it interesting behind it.Though it seems there isn't enough willing, motivation and also interest to bring it to its fullest potential.Or,better said, people who aren't so money obsessed.
It actually makes me sad there aren't so many people with more creative minds and ambition who can mantain devil may cry on a better scale because the original idea of the game it's so good and believe me it can be made so much better.
I'm not a person to like political aspects in games because I'm already tired of them in reality,I just hope for some good, challenging old school action.Which I hope to see more in future.Even though DmC at start annoyed the hell out of me(because of the modern stareotypes of what is cool now),I started to like it by the end,but it takes more for me to actually make me love it.That's why I would like to see what happens next, even though at first it made a bad impression on me,and a first bad impression it's not a smart strategy to make people like it,that's why so many hated it (and I think many hate it even now).

Yeah I don't think the PR, telling people to go F themselves if they don't like it, don't buy it and then flip 270 degrees and blaming them for poor sales isn't a good startegy.

It looks like you don't know anything about PC.

I can see a DmC2 (bad sales aside), but DmC5? The original game didn't build an universe like that, it's not even something original.

Sonic The Hedgehog is actually a westernization from the start.

Before being released, the original Japanese Sonic was much more different, having fangs, was in a band full of other animal characters and had a human girlfriend twice her size, named Madonna.

Sega of America saw all these and heavily edited the character and story without the approval of their Japanese counterparts, sparking some conflict between Sega of America and Japan.

Looking back, I think it was actually a good move and even Yuji Naka felt that it was for the best.

Westernization isn't always bad.

There is nothing bad in Westernizing, Japanizing, or culturizing anything (ITS BEEN DONE PLENTY OF TIMES BEFORE).

But its down to how the fans see it or it tailors to their tastes.

Plus DMC was a franchise that was fine the way the creators planned it out (unlike Sonic) and fans for almost a decade didn't mind how it was (for the most part) and now they have to get used to an altogether "new" DMC.

Its like having someone who is used to cake and loves it and take it away and give them brownies instead. They might or might not like the brownies and if they do they'll still probably want the cake.
