My favorite DMC Character is Dante. However the DMC1 one and not the DMC2/3.
As mentioned elsewhere one of the most important reasons for DMC3's great success was Vergil and thus my vote goes to him instead

I like Virgil and Dante both....
DAnte for his use of guns which I love to use..
but his overly immature additude is an minus on his record for me.
and Virgil is more mature and mysterious.. less predicable than dante.
and the confidence he has makes him silent, he keeps his cool towards others.
Dante openly mocks his enemies gets them ****ed off..where as Virgil doesnt mock his opponents.
just kills them..

my vote went to Virgil....

but nevertheless I liked jewster alot.. made me think of the joker....the same humor..

I like Dante's battle style as it's shown in DMC3 and the way he lives, though smashing music-machines is not polite. (may be I liked him so much 'cause we've got much in common, as i like shooting with guns at shooting-grounds in my city. and my favourite type of food is L-size pizza and strawberry ice-cream)
so undoubtedly i choose Dante
