Spider-Man Vs Batman

Here we go. For about two weeks now I have been talking to people about this... At College, my pals are aware that I like the super hero Spider-Man... They seem to think that in a fight, Batman would win. Now, we are talking about a one on one fight between Batman and Spider-Man... Meaning that Batman cannot use his vehicles, just his gadgets and his strength.

So, I would like to know who you think would win. And supposedly Batman would be able to cut through Spidey's webs... Spider-Man has the abilities of a spider X100 if I am correct *something like that* So undoubtedly, his web would be 100X's stronger than a normal spider's web. consider that I could easily cut through a normal spider's web, if that web was about 50X's stronger I'd have some difficulty... And if it were 100X's stronger then I would assume that even if I used a strong blade that the web would indeed stick to the blade and be able to be yanked away... Therefore, I don't think Batman could cut through Spidey's webs. And remember, Spidey pulls his punches. If it were a fight to the death, then Spider-Man would be able to hit harder than Batman could. Not to mention that Spidey got smashed by tons of sand, and still lived in Spider-Man 3... If that were Batman, I'd figure he would get completely killed...

Clearly, I vote Spider-Man.

Tis all hyped up favouritism. I'm talking about a pure one on one battle between them, which Spider-Man would win. He is stronger, look at facts, and not the movies. I'm looking at this fact wise, and not opinion wise. Spider-Man has abilities. Batman is just a guy in a God Damn suit. He's as lame as Iron Man and all the others in suits. Idc for the suited heroes. Anyone can wear a suit, which is suppose to show that anyone can be a hero. Well, super heroes are different. Super heroes are suppose to be super, and non human *Or altered, right?* Which makes Spidey a super hero, and Batman just a hero. And super is better than non super, because all the super ones are stronger physically *Super-Man, Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four* .et.c And Idc for the movies. If you vote Batman for the movies then please leave this thread...

I know, movie wise the Batman films pwn the Spidey films. However, I am talking about this being set in *Idc... New York City streets* Batman can only use gadgets and his strength. Spidey the same... They duel, who would win? That's the question here.

Spidey doesn't have gadgets. =P

But, I don't know.. all spiderman can do is shoot webs.. batman has a ton of gadgets...

What? He has a few gadgets? Spidey faced the Green Goblin, who also had gadgets. All that proved is that gadgets are no match to Spidey. And also that his spider-sense would always help him dodge the gadgets

Spider-Man pretty much outwits all Villains he comes across. In the animated series he fought off all 6 evil super-villains *Not just normal thugs* Spidey finds weaknesses for all, because he knows a lot about science. He is a nerd, who knows how to fight. His abilities have been enhanced. He can give a stronger punch. His acrobatic stature means he'd be able to evade all that Batman could send out. Spidey would easily beat his gadgets, clearly he'd be able to dodge and take away the gadgets by using his webs. He can swing webs at God knows how much speed. He can scale walls, and run against them. He is faster, and he doesn't need a stupid suit to help him fight. Nor a lame ass sidekick. And I am assuming that suit weights Batman down, making him slower. Batman would only ever have a chance if he was using his vehicles, and in this fight he would not be able to.

And even so, I should actually make it equal by saying that Batman can't use gadgets. As Spidey uses none, it's only fair really.

Well, obviously we have different opinions, and You are not gonna change my mind, and I am not gonna change your mind.
So, I know this isn't being turned in to a flame war, rather a debate.

Back to the subject.
Batman is faster then you think, and he is pretty stealthy, and like I said before I just think batman can out think him.
