Look at the scar on Vergil's left eye, I can clearly tell this DLC is after he fights Dante. I don' know who won the fight. But i can tell that Dante during the fight punched Vergil in the face so hard. lol, imagine that cut-scene.

Also i like how he looks so much like the new Dante in this footage. No wonder, They're twins. Even the old Vergil looked so much like old Dante when his hair was down.

And even more, New Vergil looks a bit like the Old Dante

I wonder if this is the story where Vergil got attacked by Mundus and lost his adoptive parents or the aftermath of DmC.
But yeah, if there is a character that will puch Vergil in the face then there is only one character and it's too obvious because he has the guts to punch his brother.

I will hold on to the theory that this DLC takes place both past and post main game.
But yeah, Vergil looks awesome in this.

Call Me crazy but it's possible the Vergil DLC could be a way of enticing the White Hair purists into checking out the game, seeing as for most of that video Vergil's hair is down and messy. And with the close up of his face, not knowing where it's from, one could easily mistake it for a previous Devil May Cry.

Yeah, it's obviously to attract the white hair fanboys. Still looks sick.

But didn't we agree that Dantes hair would be white by the end of DmC because he keeps DTing which is slowly unlocking his demonic power?

No, he isn't getting the white hair demonic effect by the end of the game, he's getting it in the last part of the Nightclub mission (mission 13) which means in the middle of the game. And the game has about 21 missions.

Also, When they did the playthrough for the Nightclub mission in the NYCC demo, they didn't complete it and said if they kept playing there will be spoilers, i guess the spoiler was Dante getting the white hair before fighting the naked bitch boss.

We aren't sure about that because in the recent build for the Bob Barbas mission and Nightclub mission he only has a patch of white hair.

The full white hair on that footage still weirdy, Lets say the player was in DT mode and the cut-scene started, woudn't Dante wear the red coat also?
So i think he will get it in that mission since they didn't show us any mission above the Nightclub one when he get the white hair (correct me if I'm wrong). Or maybe he will get the white hair just for like 1-3 minutes and then it back to normal.

I'm sorry, as far as narratives go, it would be really flat to have such a powerful scene like Dante gaining full control of his magic and going full white randomly happen in the middle of the story at a point that has almost no emotion to it. I refuse to believe that "the change" happens so randomly in the story. It's storytelling 101 to put stuff like that in a place where it would be the most potent.

It also makes little sense that his hair not only goes white, but also grows longer, too. It's a hint of something, but...most likely probably just an alternate costume, since it was also shown in a Famitsu screenshot from Overturn, where Dante's hair is still only just a patch of white in a black mohawk.

Ok, that kinda changed my theory.. I don't think he will get the full white hair in that mission or that was a alternate costume. More likely it's just a moment were Dante gets the white hair effect in a cut-scene and then it back to normal like a hint that he will start getting the white hair slowly.

Possibly, but it still doesn't explain why his hair got longer, when at no other point does his DT change the length of his hair :x

Keep dreamin', fellas. I hope it never goes completely white- his palette would be all kinds of weird. It only works in Devil Trigger because everything becomes a bit washed out and simplified.

Who knows? I think the null position would be to assume nothing significant changes with his hair color beyond Devil Trigger.

Yeah. I have no qualms with it never going full-white, but if it does, he needs that red coat to go with it. Like you said, his palette would be super-jacked if he just had the white hair.

That's why I think if it does go full-white, his coat changes permanently to red, or he says something akin to "the red looks pretty good, actually" and gets a new coat :p

Guys who said that Vergil's adoptive parents got attacked by demons and killed? They just said that Vergil wrote a security encryption program and went on to become an independently wealthy multi-millionaire before leaving school...also i believe that the DLC is post events of the game, that's why is calles Vergil's DOWNFALL..it kinda reminds me his fate in DMC 3 where he falls into Hell and he's got defeated by Mundus
