some doubts about dmc

^The conversation about slut above. When I hear slut, I think a person who does it with every single person they see without a care for anyone or anything else. The term slut is suggestive to different people, and the connotation can mean several things.
What berto thinks is a slut is different from what choco thinks is a slut. They could also vary in how insulting the term is. To me, the term slut is very, very offensive. I prefer whore.

When I say slut I mean that to someone who isn't hard to get in the sack and is rather active twards getting there, too. From what I know NT is trying really hard to make Dante cool (maybe a little too hard) and they figuere that if he's gone around knockin' boots (haven't said that in a while) with a buch of hot chicks like a player 'cause that's cool.

Can you blame them? new Dante's been called gay, an emo, f*ggot, Edward Cullen, Druggy, hippy, hobo, goth, twilight, sparkles, p*ssy, jerk, idiot, tramp, b*tch, hoe, hermepherdite, c*nt, cooze, slag, chin-chin (Japanese for d*ck) smoke inhaler, trany, anerecsic (Vomits to lose wait), shall I go on?

i only said that because I was angry at the time, you can't hold that ove me forever. I swear, you flip once and they never let you forget it.

Anyway, when you start out development things like story, gameplay, level design, and elements are set in stone. If they were going to make Dante promiscious it would be part of the story and it would be a choise made from the beggening of the project.

Sorry. Didn't mean to p*ss you off. Just a little joking.

Anyway, I think he's probably been planned to be promiscious but Tameen never bothered to adress it. Also plans can change for a story. Look at DMC4. It was at first gonna be about Dante Trish and Lady and such, but those plans changed and it became what it is. But what I believe they didn't have a handle on was what to call this DmC in terms of is it a reboot or an alternate world.
 
What's wrong with sleeping around when your single? Tameem said he wasn't a sexual deviant so whats wrong with having sex with 3 different people?

The gameplay and story surely isn't gonna revolve around all the women Dante slept with, this isn't leisure suit Larry.

No, it's not wrong. Most people will have more than 3 partners in their life time and if your young and single it's ok to have some consentual fun. The problem is when they sleep with three people in two days, then you need to start thinking about picking up a hoby instead of getting std's and spreading them around all over the state and before you get started on that whole 'Dante can't get stds' crap that none of us can prof or disprof I'll remind you of where babies come from and that Dante, been such a free spirit and all, strikes me as rather irresponsible and provably leaves the protection to the girl.

who said dante had sex with the girl at the nightclub at all? dante might not even know the girl from the nightclub whatsoever, so you're making a big assumption there.he might have just made a smartass comment at her.
and the comment about dante leaving the protection to the girl? seriously?
this thing about dante having sex with people is getting ridiculous. he's a videgame character, it's not like he's actually spreading std's and btw it hasn't even been proven that he's had sex with anyone, and even if it was it's just a little humor. nothing to be looked at so seriously as alot of people are doing.

The guy who wrote the article said that the context of the remark was and implication of previous contact, intimate contact.

okay well even if that was the implication, that doesn't mean he had sex with her and even if he did it doesn't mean he did it right after or before he had sex with the two girls in his trailer.
plus i don't remember the reviewer saying it was an intimate context, the only thing i remember him saying is that it seemed dante knew the girl. so pleasae present me with the source that said there is an intimate context to his remark

Nah. I'm sick of having to go to tremendus lenghts and presenting evidence and sources for every little thing I say. It's a waste of time and really, what's the point? I don't know where the article is and I ain't looking for it. If you don't want to belive me it's fine, but I'm not going to exert myself over this, just ain't worth it.

okay well i'm pretty sure i read the article you did and it said nothing about an "intimate" relationship. it just said that dante made a smart ass remark to a girl in the night club, so that's what i believe.
 
Because he didn't, I did, he used a different phrase but the implication stands.
 
OK, let's stop at the "sleep around" topic. More stories of DmC need to know before we know about Dante's personality in this game.

I don't know. The point was that from what i've seen they are making Dante this dude who gets laid alot because he's just that cool, and he's other things that are cool, he score with chicks all the time, parties, drinks, and it's a revel who hates the establishment. That's right there is what I'm calling right now as their goal for the character.
