So will DmC 2 be made?

Also Dragons Dogma did not sell very well but that has not changed anything "Due to the Positive reception and commercial, success Capcom is intending to develop Dragons Dogma into a major franchise" and not to mention DMC 4 sold the best out of all of the classics but yet capcom still rebooted it.
Bro, you might wanna check out what "commercial success" means.

Dragon's Dogma sold about over a million units and that is good numbers for the little PR they did for the game. Especially since it is a new IP aswell.

"I remember, during the first stages of development, one of the illustrations we got for a regular enemy had this huge blade on his right elbow," Itsuno said. "It was actually on pretty much all the enemies! Apparently the designer really liked putting blades on people's elbows."

"So we asked how the guy was gonna attack with this blade," Eshiro continued, "and the reply was 'Oh, he doesn't use it much'. So we said 'No, no, that's not going to work as a game' and had them rethink it a little bit."

Seems unlikely after reading this.

But who knows? Maybe the game will be awesome this time around. I'm not going to be completely negative.

I guess it will be made, though I think Capcom are also considering revisiting the old franchise and making a legitimate DMC5 alongside DmC2, to please both fanbases.
I wouldn't mind if they continued both of the series. I'm not completely sure but is there like two versions of CoD made by different companies? I don't see why Capcom and NT can't do both. Then again, there could be factors as to why that I don't understand.

No idea, there are few options. Capcom have made a lot of bad decision lately, who knows if they have learned from their own mistakes or they are still going to do stupid things.

RE6 still sold several million

And DmC made number 1 on the charts for two days in a dead month where its only competition was Ni No Kuni. Currently it's not even on lists anywhere any more. Cowadooty, football and months old games that just got new DLC are

Hey, Ni No Kuni is a charming and fun game and it totally will be super successful and everyone will buy it and.... and... :'(

You really like it or being sarcastic?:/ It's cute looking, but to me it's like pokemon had a baby with well... studio Ghibli

I read in an article via Flipboard, that Capcom and Ninja Theory are in talks to make another DmC game.

I apologize for not having the source, but I do know they are planning on making another one :)

itd better sell otherwise all those sacrifices i made to emhotep would have been a gigantic waste of some perfectly good orphans.

I really like it, but I am fully aware of the fact that it has no chances of becoming a huge hit.

I might get it if it has a price drop. £40 is a bit much for a game when I'm not fully sure what it's about. Guess I'll have to do more research.
The only other game I'm getting full price this year is the new Bioshock. Still sitting on the fence with Tomb raider. I liked the old games, but I'm not sure about this new one. ^_^
