That's true. Although for a 3 part episode that was 30 mins long, it wasn't bad. If they did 2 1 hour episodes merging the first two, then having a longer last part.

I'm with this guy.
If any of you actually are fans of Red Dwarf you'd know it went downhill way back at the beginning of series 7.
It's been dreadful since.

Yeah. It's been going downhill, but for a comeback, it wasn't too bad to be honest. If you think about how much worse it could have been, then it was okay. I'm not saying that it was better than the first set of series, but it was good for what it was.

To be honest, the lack of audience laughter and the pretty good props weren't doing it for me.
It lacked any of the comedy spirit it originally had.
