As the previous posters accurately stated, a forum is a community, and more often than not we have real lives to contend with before posting here. Plus, due to timezones and other issues you may or may not be online at the same time as the rest of the community.

Patience is a virtue, respond to threads that have new posts then go browse the internet a while and check back

But, please refrain from making (seemingly) topic-less threads.
