PUTTING ON COAT CHALLENGE (DmC vs. DMC3)

So I thought I'd do a challenge between the best dressing up.

Who put on their coat better?

DMC3

or DmC
Honestly? I think it should be more of a 'who put on their coats less badly.'
I really didn't care for how either of them did it and I found both terribly unnecessary. A lot of DMC3 has been described as such but in this case that is the one thing I found less charming. Top it off with the whole matador thing making such a simple action overly complicated and I think it's less cool that it seems to think it to be. It could've been just as cool at a quarter the complexity if it has the right attitude. I don't know how I just know that the over complication killed it for me and that is why, even though I find it damn near as silly, DAnTE wins this one for me.

You just took the word from me.

Is it just the swearing that made you upset?
The swearing in DmC is the one trap card a lot of people use as a scapegoat for their dislike towards the new tone for the game. They claim that Dante swearing like a drunken sailor and throwing curses everywhere makes him a badly-written character who exchanged the Old Dante's campy one-liners in an attempt to cater towards younger audiences.

Yes, because any character who has a consistent swearing problem is automatically a dumbed-down, lazy attempt at writing, right? There can't POSSIBLY be a swearing character who isn't well-written at the same time.

What's "well written", is most definitely an opinion based subject. Some of us found it to be poor, average, good, meh. But rage inducing? How? You don't know this universe's Dante at this point. He does things in a most classless fashion but, only when it comes to demons yes. That very same classless swearing does not go hand in hand with DMC's Dante's corny and cheesy lines.

I don't know about anyone else, but I wanted DMC Dante to never ever spew corny words from his mouth. So, that's bad writing to me. Hell, when I was younger, I winched at his lines and even felt slightly embarrassed to be playing as him IN front of my older brother. He liked to tease me about lame things in games that I'm playing and when I heard that "LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMEEEE" come out his mouth...I agreed man...I f***ing agreed.

.....That.....B*****d...

ANYWAYS!

Anyone else catch DMC Dante's appearances in other games? How he never says anything corny from his mouth?

Not sure of the relevance to the coat but I'm guessing it's something to do with posts above.
Anyway, it's a little more simple than that. It's not the swearing itself that makes it 'bad,' it's the use of swearing that makes it juvenile. The difference between an adult saying it (lets say a Tarantino character) and a kid (a character written by a middle schooler in creative writing class and I was in one, a lot of those around).

But he swears like a normal person would.

Exactly. Every other word from his mouth isn't a swear. I think it's just fans trying to find every little nip pick to use. It reminds me of one member who loved 21 Jump Street for how funny they are and their juvenile cursing praised as hilarious, but yet call DmC **** when it does even less cussing then 21 jump street.

It was originally thrown on a lower hanging carriage, and as the wheel turned it gradually made it's way to the top.
Simple.
Yeah but... how come no one threw it off? No one thought that it might've jammed the Ferris Wheel are something? No one was on that carriage and said "Hey look, a jacket." Also, if only demons can be in Limbo, then how come is jacket was there? Isn't he in another plane of existence entirely? Then again, it would be really awkward if Dante just lost all of the clothes he was wearing when he went in and out of Limbo...

I'm looking way too deep into this.

His coat is shown being thrown at the Ferris-wheel very late at night, so it's not too far fetched to assume it was unoccupied at the time.(And now it sounds like I'm desperately trying to make excuses :p)

Secondly, no it is consistently portrayed that nephilim, demons, and things directly and indirectly associated with them appear in Limbo.(As well as most of the human world environment.)
