Put a quote to a character/scene!

The idea for this thread is a direct inspiration from ChibiVerg's "Put a song to a character/scene" awesome one...
While searching for songs, I noticed that I often found parts of songs which could go well with characters, but not the whole song.
So, I decided to create a thread for these quotes which, if isolated from their context, could describe well a character/scene.
You can post whatever kind of quote made you think about one character/scene/situation, be it from songs, novels, films, games, literature and whatever you think could do. (If you find a whole song, though, please post it to ChibiVerg's wonderful thread!)

I'll start with some quotes for Vergil (just because I'm such a fangirl...):

After Vergil's Downfall:

This one too made me think about Vergil, but him before DmC, while he was searching for his brother.

And finally, one that reminds me of Kat, when she was having her nightmares, and then Vergil came and helped her fight them back:

i knew which episdoe it was. the points are for the genius who manages to photoshop it. they dont give out a nobel prize for attempted cures for cancer or sentences for attempted murder..ok they do for that but my point still stands.
