"I don't know." Dante said, examining the object. "But it's giving off a lot of power. Dark power."

"You didn't even need to tell me." Xevnas said. "That thing's presence makes my skin crawl..."

 

[Richtofen]

"Well...I volunteer to carry it. It might be a key to the next temple or help us in one of them." Cain reached for the round, dark orb but a hand stopped him.

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

"Who's there?" Dante said, pulling out Rebellion in a flash. In that same instant, Xevnas had unsheathed Greshall's Spine and set it to whip mode.

[DreadnoughtDT]

I don't know. Ask Faust.

faust??

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

Faustinasa. She's the one that put the hand grabbing scene in there, after all.

Faust is my nickname for her.

" I Would't touch it until you know what it is." the mysterious figure said "maybe your book could help"

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

"I'll ask again." Dante said slowly. "Who are you?" He still wasn't ready to put Rebellion down.

 

[ReaperHunter]

" What if i don't want to answer Mr. Dante" he says in a patronizing voice .

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

"Then you'll be kissing steel." Dante said, slightly annoyed.

 

[Richtofen]

Cain slowly backed away from the two, he had a feeling something big was about to happen. He quickly hid behind Xevnas.

"I wonder why he stopped me from touching that orb...if he truly is an enemy he would've let me suffer what it had to do to me." he whispered to Xevnas.

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

"Maybe he's testing us." Xevnas said, wrapping his cloak around Cain protectively. "I know I don't trust you much, but an ally is an ally."

 

[Richtofen]

Cain nodded in agreement.

"What will we do once Dante fights? If he does at all...and we HAVE to do something about that orb, we can't just let it sit there." Cain pointed out.

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

"I could shatter it." Xevnas suggested helpfully, waving his segmented whip slightly.

 

[Richtofen]

"No, I have a feeling it's a key to something...I..." Cain stopped short. If I tell him I am a sorcerer he will beat me down and lose the sliver of trust between me and him...or I do it but save our asses He weighed out the choices in head, and neither pointed in his favour.

Let's get it over with...He swallowed hard. "I have something to tell you..." he started.

"Say it now, then." Xevnas said quickly. "Before they start fighting."

 

[Richtofen]

"I'm an apprentice sorcerer, and I can contact my Master to get more information about that orb." Cain blurted out. "But please, you HAVE to trust me for now...I don't care after but until we figure out who's enemy and who's ally just take what's offered right now!"

 

[DreadnoughtDT]

"A sorcerer? You mean the ones that used to kill dragons as sport?" Xevnas said, anger creeping into his voice. "Ugh... I'll trust you, but only for now."
