Yea, but it is on NT's homepage so..... and why would they say a young man? or child? Maybe his mother did become an angel, i mean she did win over the heart of Sparta, enough to make him save humanity. Maybe thats enough to become an angel, by being able to love a lost soul.

I still think this angel/demon thing is just bottled into one. I mean its a fine line between the two the only thing that separates them is the choices they make. And to think that the city he lives in is called Limbo..?
but anyways, all i know is this game has had my full attention for the past um.....YEAR and i cant wait to see NT explain wtf is going on.

I dont know if you've seen the TGS stage demo, because while he's walking around limbo streets with that female, he seems more like a human than anything. He displays signs of human emotions in several different ways. And also angels have not been explained very well in dmc history so theres no telling the level of humanity that he has or doesnt have.

I've always think its pretty funny when people believe small amounts of information and disregard other info because it just doesnt suit them well.
TA has mentioned several time's that dante has 3 forms.
All this information is poorly introduced and we are really in need of a proper story trailer. But since NT wants to keep all info under wraps, i doubt we'll even get any idea of what dante really is until the official game release.

And wallenb, if ToCool find it ridiculous, then he is allowed to. Sure, it is little info, but it is info none the less, and until we get more info, it is all we can base our opinions on. Sceptics and supporters alike.

However, it is true that what we saw in the demo is Dante being rather human, no matter his heritage. Like in the past DMC games, Dante was still rather human, even with demonblood running through his veins. Though he was half human in the past, the demonic part of him didn't really affect his behaviour, other than maybe being rather overconfident (and being cocky about it).

And it seems like he is still like that, even without his human heritage. Hopefully we will get some deeper info about how it all sticks together soon.

Agreed. But, people still have a right to dislike something and voice their complaints. ToCool (and other dislikers) may not be on the same page as the supporters and vice versa, but that doesn't end one side's right to complain/praise, right? Saying that the dislikers can't complain is like saying the supporters can't praise or be hopeful.

The info on that page seems just as useful as NT's word on whether or not this game was a prequel or a reboot. NT has been pretty careful not to leak any info out about the story and if this info is "true" then it means the origins of dante are not going to be related to anything previously seen in dmc. But in interviews NT and capcom have said they're just retelling the story of dante and they are just modernizing it.
All im saying is this back and forth crap doesn't explain anything, it just stirs the pot.

I myself like to give my opinion on the current footage and info with have been given. Sure it isn't much but its SOMETHING. My opinion could definitely change down the road once NT starts to release more info on it. But as of right now I feel the need to give my input on it. After all, If NT didn't want fans to critic the current footage then why show it at all?

All I was asking you to do is not challenge or discredit or put down peoples opinion because they do not share the same point of view as you about not sharing a opinion on the current story information.

People need to respect that others have opinions, but that also doesn't mean that we should be LOOKING for ways to construe that someone is disrespecting ours.

Its not like anyone is saying that this will stay unanswered or stay the same.

Sure things could and will possibly change down the road but the fact remains that NT has revealed a bit about the story.

People will feel the need to critic what Is shown.

I see nothing wrong with that because as you said in your post NT may want to hear the fans opinion on their current product.

So I just do not understand it when people become defensive and try to convey that its not ok to voice your opinion on the current product because its to early.

I'm hoping NT can somehow pull this whole Half Angel and Half Demon thing off. I don't want to see them fail because I do not want them to slander the DMC name by releasing a lame DMC game.

Hopefully NT has a good reason for making this change and also make a good and compelling story that can draw us skeptics in instead of pushing us away.
