pc devil may cry 4 runs too fast

when i play there is moments where the game runs too fast .
it happenned since i reinstalled windows because befor it was working normaly .
i have 8800 ultra and a q6600 2,4 Giga , and i play with a resolution 1920x1080
please can anyone give me an advice?

Your PC is probably not reading it properly. Uninstall, re-install. Use lower settings or possible use a different PC. I set one up for less that £200 and it runs DMC4 smooth as a blade.

Try setting max fps from variable to 60 or viseversa.

i want to keep all the setting to the maximum and if i set fps to 60 max it runs too slow.
