Original Devil May Cry to return..... probably

If they make a DMC4 special edition(which they might not but a boy can dream) they should have new artwork, new bonus features, a audio room(like the HD collection), & all that obvious easy stuff Capcom can cram in but what should be in there is new modes like Boss Battle Modes & Boss Survival Modes, an improved Bloody Palace Mode(almost like DMC3) or is that too much, a few extra missions, slightly altered story with extra cutscenes, new enemies, actual costumes(not just Super Costumes) that even appears in story cutscenes, a few new bosses(make Nero a boss), & most importantly the option to select Nero or Dante for ANY mission(once completing the game once).

it all depends on how much capcom does to fix the mistakes of both which are many but than i rather see a dmc5 tho.

potentially they would have to remake the game from the ground up which might be a waste of resources but since the series has no real direction, you could afford to that.

As much as I would absolutely love for both series to come out, It's not gonna happen. I don't think Capcom has enough budget in the bank to be able to pull that off. If they are going to continue a series, it's going to have to be the Devil May Cry that's the most popular of the two. In my opinion DMC3 was the best DMC of all the Devil May Cry original games, so DmC is somehow gonna have to surpass that nmber of sales if Capcom's gonna do a continuation of that. Personally I would rather have the new one as the one series, because say the new one ends with a cliff hanger, I don't want to just forget about it and go back to the original like nothing happened. Plus there isn't much you can do with the original anyway, cause all the places have been filled. can't do a Sparda game cause then he'd lose his mystery and greatness. They won't do a continuation from DMC2 since fans hated that one. And it would be a waste of time to do a game telling who Nero is, since you can do that with just diaoluge.

I really wouldn't want the new one to continue, honestly, the new one just looks horrid in my opinion, Mundus is a freaking business man!? lack of trish or lady, Kat looks like a stereotypical female character, unable to fight for herself.

Kat is a stereotypical female character, who so far, has not done battle with jack crap in any of the videos we have been shown so far, Really, its Kyrie all over again, a personality less character, who is defenseless, and just happens to be female.

Simply because capcom wanted it to be so different, the changes served to more alienate pre-existing fans than bring them in.

If you wanted fans to accept a prequel, changing the main character so much that he becomes unrecognizable isnt the way to go.

Plus a prequel at this stage would prove to the fans that capcom has no idea where they are going with this series. And prequels are limiting as stories anyway as you gotta synch up with what happened in the main series.

It is possible she could have psychic powers and be able to move objects around. Or she could be a blade summoner who can shoot blades at enemies. Y'know, summoning powers and what not.
