now that Angels exsist within the DMC unverse

In the Manga they said there were demon "kings".
I think Vergil will get enthroned in the downfall trailer and be counted as one of them because he killed Mundus.
The tiltle he will get is of course Nelo Angelo.
I like that idea! That would be a really good end to the downfall DLC with Vergil made a king of hell.
Something else I was thinking is what about Sparda? Will Vergil go after his power in the DLC?

i hope not as we have already seen it before

Angels have always existed in the DMC universe. The Fallen in DMC3 are explicitly stated to be Angels that fell from grace.

You mean Vergil being king of hell, or Vergil going for Sparda's power?
I was thinking, as Sparda is still alive, it could mean Vergil would have to kill him to get the power. If he's willing to kill his father, that's another line Vergils has crossed, like he'd become even more irredeemable at that point.

I'm really sort of hoping that angels stay out of (don't interfere) DmC like they did in DMC. Unles they become allies to Dante. Seems a bit cliche to have "bad" angels, just like "good" demons.

I'd rather go for the good angels and the fallen angels to join in. Dante will have to find a way to earn all the angels' trust.

Angel's existed in the original series as well. In DMC3 there were enemies that were once angels but were corrupted and turned into demons.

I guess you can say there are angels in the original DMC...Its speculation that Bayonetta is in the same universe as DMC one fights demons the other angels...

It's confirmed by Kamiya that Bayonetta is in the same Universe as a version of DMC1, but NOT including the rest of the series Capcom had continued to produce after he left. Kamiya's...kind'a bitter still about all that, since he said Bayo could beat Dante easy in a fight.

haha, Kamiya, that cheeky bastard. DMC1 is my favorite game, but no, I'm afraid he's wrong about Bayo vs Dante... even if he created them. :)

Yeah, I've always gotten the impression he meant "continued Dante", not HIS Dante, since it feels like he doesn't consider them the same rendition of the character. Ironic, being that Itsuno and Kobayashi's Dante are pretty much even more overpowered than Kamiya's, that means THEIR Dante would flick Bayo off with a picky tap.

On topic though; yeah, the Fallen in DMC3 were specified to have been Angels who fell, and theDMC3 manga stated that Angels and Demons used to be the same, in reference to Judeo-Christian dogma about the origins of both. It'll be interesting to see what "heaven" is like in the NT reboot should, as I've nicknamed it "Ultimate DmC" continue.

Now that Limbo has merged with the real world, wouldn't that mean angels could start showing up in the humans world?
But seeing as Sparda and Eva met, surely that means other angels can arrive in the human world too? So the question is more where are they?
Maybe they were too afraid of the demons? Or maybe they do not care about humans and saw no reason to interfere with Mundus? Or now Mundus is gone, they have their chance to rule humans?
There's a lot of ways angels could be shown in this reboot. Personally I like the idea of angels not being entirely good.

I think the angels had to create human bodies to have a physical presence in the human world, same as the demons (this was a really unique/cool idea by the way). They must have been afraid of Mundus, unless they were busy fighting other demon kings?
