Golden Saint God of Overlords
imagine if this got it's own 13 episode animated series. Here are a few questions in my mind:

1) Would it be retelling of the games story? Or would it have it's own story within the canon of the DmC universe? Or would it be a corrupted retelling of DmC?

2) Will it be subpar like the DMC anime? Worse? Better?

3) Strawberry sundaes? OR BEER!?

lolz

1) It probably be its own story within DmC's canon or a retelling of the game. It would have references to the old lore such as characters or locales but i dont really see it retelling those events.

2) hard to say but the anime was pretty bad so i see it being better

3) I could see Kat introducing Dante too them or Dante remembering it was his favorite desert as a kid.

Sex, drugs and dubstep/techno
thats the blurb on the front of the box:dead:

To be fair at least old Dante was actually cool in the show unlike his games.
not really. he was rather dull to the point where the only two episodes worth rewatching are the ones that dont have him ( the trish/lady team-up and the johnny somebody)

I liked idea about students of Sparda...but it ended underdeveloped and dull like rest of DMC Anime. Well what to expect from studio that made such brilliant Marvel comics adaptation as Iron Man and Blade :P

And that Supernatural anime that just ended up being retelling of the first two seasons.

I mean god, you could've done season 4 too. So that we could see Castiel. And what about Bobby? That old midget looked NOTHING like Bobby.

^this, so much this :( But the most horrific thing I saw was Iron Man. I dunno who came up with this idea. It was pure terror.

1. Better than the ****ty DMC anime for sure.
2. It would reuse music from the game and trailers, it would probably have "Never Surrender" by Combichrist as the theme song.
3. It would possibly be set in between Vergil's Downfall and DmC2 and tell a story that would eventually lead to DmC2.
4. It would probably have about fifteen episodes and explore the relationship between Dante and Kat, and shed a little insight on how the world is doing after the demons were exposed.

Hm, I can't really see DmC as an anime at all but if anything I'd imagine it pretty much as how Blackswipe already described it.

I'd also think that it'd take an episode or two to explore more of Dante's life (and possibly of Kat's too) before DmC.

As for Strawberry Sundaes or beer: I'd go with Strawberry Sundays, cuz we know Dante used to drink Virility, which is that sugery sweet it feels like your teeth are about to curl up in agony while also being slightly sour, so I guess he'd like Strawberry Sundaes aswell.
I can't really imagine Dante with beer, so I'd say let's make it whiskey instead~

figured he'd be the Jack Daniel's type of guy.

Dante was fine in the show, despite dropping curses like "pudgy ****" and "****head" in the show (something most people blasting DmC for cursing seem to conveniently overlook).
What ruined the show was the nonsensical, in-congruent, lackluster attempt at a story. Each episode was even more bland and forgettable than the last...each one making the plot of the games seem like the work of H.P. Lovecraft in comparison.

Well you could have an American/British animation team handle it but none come to mind.

Studio BONES of FMA, Darker than Black, and Ao no exorcist fame would have been a good choice since they can handle being left to their own devices.

I remember what happened when this studio made P3 animated sequel *shrugs*
