If they'll replace Dante they will lose a Huge Fan Base of Dante and Vergil. Besides, Capcom is going to use both of them - Nero and Dante. It was official application.
By the way, Dante in DMC2 was older than in DMC3. So... His age doesn't mean anything. Dante and Nero already know each other. So storyline has many possible ways.

Thankyou, you took words right out of my mouth. Dante is half demon, he shouldn't grow old like humans. Of course he will get older, but just not in the way humans do. Dante is nearing his 40s in dmc4, but does he really look 40? Id say he looks more like a 25 year old with a little stubble. I've seen 16 year olds at my school that looked like they were in their 30s. (Im not kidding, it's really sad) Mainly due to their long beards and their lack of hygene.

Dante in DMC4 looks great. He's powerful and very quick. New Dante reminds me Dante in DMC3. But he's mixing serious and funny. I like it. And Vergilissexy is right. Dante is the half-devil. 40 years old? Who cares? His father lived something around 2000 years! So... Dante is still "devil-boy".

Devil Boy, according to Jester.
And anyway, I dont really care if Dante gets older or not... atleast he's in the game, Im so over the moon!
